Facing the Giants

Summary:

A Christian high school football coach Grant Taylor has never led his Shiloh Eagles to a winning season. After learning that he and his wife Brooke face infertility, and Grant discovers that a group of fathers are secretly organizing to have him dismissed as head coach of the football team. Grant was devastated by his circumstances. He didn’t lose hope he trained his players and he teach them the words of GOD. Before them going to the game they all kneel down and pray, also after the game. Grant also teaches them that with GOD, nothing is impossible. Because of those changes they always win the game. Then the championship is come they all discouraged to win that game because their opponent was the giants they all like a giants, tall and big, but their couch did all things to have a positive thinking he always say to them that “with GOD, nothing is impossible”. As the game start first they are losing the ball but they are recovering. At the end they win the game and as the Shiloh Eagles win also Grant Taylor was win too because they have a baby! Now we can prove it that believing with GOD theirs a miracle happen.

Lesson Learned/Value:

The lesson on the story is never give up to everything remember that God is always there for us don’t lose hope just trust Him because with God, nothing is impossible. God all know what we’re going to happen in our life, God holds our life. Also in the story it shows how to have an effective communication to others and being a good leader to your team.

Relation to Module 4, 5, 6:

In Module 4 it is about to the family in the society. I can relate the family of Grant Taylor a dyadic nuclear family and nuclear family. Dyadic nuclear because first Grant incapable to give his wife a child and nuclear family because as the day past, because
