On May 22, 2017, a bomb detonated in the Manchester arena during Ariana Grande’s live performance. This event claimed the lives of 22 people and injured many more. 23 people were arrested during the initial investigation but 2 were quickly de-arrested. 20 more arrested suspects were released without charges. The investigators believe the suicide bomber, Salman Abedi, did not act alone and are questioning others, such as his brother. They believe that this was an attack that was planned out for months before executing. Terrorism is a very terrible act.
