In the documents written by Gifford Pinchot and John Muir, they were both about the building process of Hetch Hetchy Dam. The Hetch Hetchy Dam was built in the early 1900s in California. In both of the documents they both had different reasoning and logic behind each of their ideas. After reading both of the documents, I would say Gifford Pinchot put up a better argument. While reading the both the documents there was one major difference that stood out to me. The difference was between Pinchot and Muir’s argument. Pinchot argued that the wilderness manages they conservation of natural sources the best (History Matters). Muir disagreed, he argued complete different.
