ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I extend my sincerest gratitude to Professor Ms. Adajar for her constant support, guidance and motivation, who helped me with the revisions I made and increase the idea that I must do with this research.
I also like to thank my most beloved family who understand the need to finish this research, just always remember that you are always loved. And lastly to my unseen co-author who always guides me and never leaves my side.
In completing this project, the project provided us with an opportunity to understand the fundamentals of research methods in a better manner and apply them in everyday life. The insistence on taking up a socially relevant topic like the use of Facebook helped me to understand if the said topic really affects the academic performance of the students.

Introduction
Overview
Social networking websites are currently being used regularly my millions of people. The use of social networking sites has been widespread that they have not only caught the attention of academic and industry researchers worldwide but also me, in particular. Social networking sites are now being investigated by numerous social science researchers and an increasing number of academic commentators are becoming more and more interested in studying Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking services, because of their probable impact on society.
While the social networking sites have the same key aspects, the cultures and responses around them that become apparent are varied. Most sites help strangers connect with others based on shared personal interests, political and economic views, or simply recreational activities. Some sites accommodate distinct viewers, while others attract people based on similarities, such as common languages or shared racial, sexual, religious or nationality-based identities. Nonetheless, social networking sites have

...understanding of other culture; meet people all over the world. Maintain and strengthen familial relationship, communicate effectively with others, and help people to become more socially adept. However, some technological advances cause people to be distracted, overly stressed, and increasingly isolated. Many people are involved in an abundant number of relationships through technology, but sometimes the quantity of these associations leaves people feeling qualitatively empty. Obviously, technology has had a profound impact on what it means to be social. Today, the concept of an educated person includes an element of technological literacy. Technology offers broad tools that extend human capabilities. In contemporary society, the bond between human and technology goes to very extent level, and this is must be carefully examined in order for us to keep in perspective the scope of technological variation, the scope of its effects globally, the complexity and interdependence of advanced technological sub systems, and technology’s value and place in society. We can’t deny the fact...

...Content A fraternity (Latin frater : "brother") is a brotherhood, although the term sometimes connotes a distinct or formal organization and sometimes a secret society. A fraternity (or fraternal organization) is an organized society of men associated together in an environment of companionship and brotherhood; dedicated to the intellectual, physical, and social development of its members. History There are known fraternal organizations which existed as far back as ancient Greece and in the Mithraic Mysteries of ancient Rome. Analogous institutions developed in the late medieval period called confraternities, which were lay organizations allied to the Catholic Church. Some were groups of men and women who were endeavoring to ally themselves more closely with the prayer and activity of the Church; Others were groups of tradesmen, which are more commonly referred to as guilds. These later confraternities evolved into purely secular fraternal societies, while the ones with religious goals continue to be the format of the modern Third Orders affiliated with the mendicant orders. The development of modern fraternal orders was especially dynamic in the United States, where the freedom to associate outside governmental regulation is expressly sanctioned in law. There have been hundreds of fraternal organizations in the United States, and at the beginning of the 20th century the number of memberships equaled the number of adult males. (Due to multiple memberships, probably only 50%...
