“I feel like I can be anything with you“ and “can you feel me right now” are just two of many similar lines from the movie Her. The film was released December 18, 2013 and was inspired by the film I'm Here from 2010. The director Spike Jonze, starts the movie by introducing the protagonist, Theodore Twombly as a lost workmen in a futuristic time. While going through a divorce Theodore purchases himself a talking operating system called OS. Theodore chooses the OS to be female and the system names itself Samantha. Eventually Samantha becomes more than just a program. She becomes a friend, a companion, and a soulmate. Yes folks Theodore literally falls in love with his computer.

As warned by the professor who assigned the viewing of this movie it is a lot to try to understand. The film is not up to par. I say this because the extras in scenes …show more content…
Giving the benefit of the doubt that most viewers watching this film are focused on the main character and not the bystanders, the movie is spontaneously disturbing. For example a scene is set on the beach and the wonders of Samantha viewing people through something similar to a smart phone lense says “Have you ever thought...why are all these [body] parts the way are” As cute curiosity takes a turn, the idea of the butt hole being placed in an armpit is brought up.
