Released 1973, The Kink’s “Money and corruption/I am your man”, is a mix of two songs, the first half being about anti-politicians and the second half is trying to persuade you to accept a totalitarian dictatorship. This song is considered by many to be the anti neocon theme song, a movement in the early 1960’s among Democrats who became disillusioned with the party’s domestic, and especially foreign policy.
