“I never saw the end of the tunnel” Sunday night Kobe Bryant decided to call it quits on his career in poetic fashion; writing in short verses, he recalled falling in love with the game of basketball, growing up as a fan of the lakers, and lastly, of old age. Should have the all-powerful, all-knowing, Black Mamba retired? The Lakers have accomplished so much with Kobe being their Golden child; recently though, the Lakers stand in the last place in the Western Conference. Is the fact that Kobe Bryant himself at the beginning of the season commented about his pending retirement, without shutting the idea down, given us the idea that maybe The Black Mamba lost his magic. Could it be that this season and many more, could have tarnished his legacy?
