The most important person to me I would like to write about my precious mother, Nawal. There are thousands of ways to define the word "mother". Some people would describe a mother as the one that takes care of the home. Others may complain that their mother is the one that is constantly nagging. Nevertheless, my view on a mother is above and beyond the typical description.
My mother has pure white skin that match her pure personality. She is short and has a small nose and brown hair like honey, alongside with her soft light brown eyes.
I love the way she choose which clothes to wear every morning for work while feeding my younger brother. Her style is classy and she prefers using black and white. I remember always wanting to look like mommy and walking around in her high heels. To this day, I still love using her things. Her smile and laughter are the most beautiful things in her. People always told her she has a baby face.
When I think of my mother, the first thing that comes to mind is her striking appearance. She always take care of my younger sister and two brothers. Even if she is busy with her own life, she will still be eager to hear me squeal over my drama-filled teenage gossip. And whenever something becomes too much for me, she is there calming me down with just a simple sentence. Even if I refused her request or if we got in a fight, she still manages to run a household beautifully. She is the kindest person I have ever met; she has a heart of a child. And she likes laughing as much as I do. She is a very hard-working person also, and thankfully, we are similar to each other. She always encourage me to study, and I do not think I would become a well-educated person without her.
Here I would like to thank God for giving me this amazing person in my life. No amount of money can repay for all her care and love that she had showered on me. I

In my family, I am taught that no matter what difficulties I have to face, my family would always be there and support me. They taught me many things about life that I would take with me for the rest of my life. No matter how many good friends you have, they will never be there for you forever, but family will always be there for you. Self Reflection

...The person I am today is influenced on different values and the different experiences that I have encountered while growing up to be a good role model, an elder sister and a good friend. Growing up as a child in my family was tough being the fact that I am the only girl with three younger brothers that look up to me so the influence from childhood was really tough and one of the greatest impact in who I am today. My relationships with my parent as a childhood was pretty normal, I look up to my dad while I was growing up because his hardworking and his the breadwinner of the family and from things he has told me while I was growing up was that he had to support his family at an early stage because he lost his father and he had to help out and he also had to drop out of school so his siblings good have a good education, that’s a huge sacrifice he made at an early stage and that makes me proud of him and that motivates me to want to be a better person and still molds me to who I am I today and who I would want to be in the future. My mum on the other hand taught me to be forgiven, to always look for the best in people and never think of people’s past but the bright side, and she also taught me to give people second chances because regardless of where they might have gone wrong they still deserved a second chance because we are human’s and we all make mistakes. Family values are everything to me, I believe it’s good to honor those values because family is very important to me it’s...

Important Person in My Life

...An important person in your life Everybody has an important person in their life who can motivate, share moment and be there for them when they needed. I think the most important person in the life of everyone is the member of his family. The simple word “family” can conjure up many meanings, images and emotions. They could be warm and pleasant, at the same time they can be sad and dismal. But for most, the word “family” is one of the greatest words in the world, it brings a lot of unforgettable and joyful memories about their childhood and past, enormous number of happy and funny moments, and of course it brings the picture of your family members, whom you truly love, who really mean a lot for you and who are the most influential and important people in your life. Your family members simply cared about you when you were sick even if it meant staying up all the night just to make sure your fever stayed down. There were also times when they let you make your own choices and allowed you to suffer the consequences it brings if you made a bad decision. Sometimes they pushed you in certain directions and had high expectations for you. Your family is not only people that you biologically related to and those who will love you unconditionally, but they are your first friends, whom you can trust and always count on when you need them. Family members have the biggest influence on you, through their love, discipline, encouragement and living. One of the important persons in the life...

My Story

...Lisa Simmons September 3, 2013 First Draft Professor Scherf People never think about what defines them as a person but when they do it will be clear that either there are a great deal of things or very few things that define them. Something that defines someone even if it’s as simple as how they wear their hair or the clothes that they wear every day, are still characteristics that define a person. I have given this topic a great deal of thought and the most important things that define me are my adoption, heritage, and passion for the game of softball. It is not just one aspect that defines me. It is through my past experiences, and future ones that shape who I am as an individual person. My adoption would have to be what defines me the most because being adopted shows a person that they can’t take their family for granted. Building and keeping the strong relationship with my family is very important to me. These relationships continue to grow every day. Without my family I don’t know where I would be right now. The basically saved my life and that’s what family is for. Another thing that adoption has taught me about is inclusion. My family took me in when I needed it the most and they didn’t treat me like I was an outsider even though they didn’t know anything about me or where I came from. Including someone is something me and my friends are doing could change someone’s life for the better. I was taught that I shouldn’t exclude anyone and if they are shy go over to them...

Perfect Employee

...think of the best solution or answer to a given task or problem than an individual. I choose the task of coming with up what the most important characteristic for a fellow employee should have. I choose to use my fellow co-workers to figure out the perfect solution. I believe that they will be very capable of providing me with the best possible answer. The reason why I believe they will be able to come up with a great answer is because they see fellow employees and they observe bad qualities and good qualities in a person. They will be able to choose the best quality and pick what the most important to obtain to be the most excellent employee quality is. [Deleted] My fellow employees being very different from one another it would allow me to keep the diversity in every persons answer. To me diligence and professionalism are some qualities a great employee has to have because no employer wants a lazy employee. So the employees need to prove that they are diligent. Professionalism varies across professions, but underlying it all is a desire to give your best in a recognizably competent fashion. Employees can also be very lazy at times, recharging your batteries but overall an employee should come out as a diligent person. Having balanced and reasonable expectations about an employer is also a part of professionalism. Motivation also is a very important to be the best possible employee. This quality is absolutely vital. Motivation can be recognized in small details or from an employee...

Transgender Rights

...happens on every other article I have seen about anyone who is transgender. While some people are doing this intentionally, there are many people that identify transgender people inaccurately simply due to lack of knowledge. It is not a common topic and so I wanted to help educate as many people as I could about what it means to be transgender. Transgender rights were already an important part of my life. I was friends with three people that are transgender. My best friend from high school is one of those people. I remember when she told me she wanted to become a girl. I did not react in a surprised way. I just told her “Do whatever you need to do to make you happy. That’s the only thing that matters.” She told me she loved my reaction because I did not act like it was a crazy idea. She said it was like she told me she like pasta, like it was a totally normal thing to say. Although she was my first transgender friend, it felt like a normal thing to say. No one has ever said to me that I should not identify as a woman or tried to harass me or insult me for that. It made no sense to me why anyone would do that to anyone else, especially someone who was not born the gender they identified with. I thought those people deserved sympathy, not more challenges. ...opinion would be a combination of a person who obtained the qualities of a team leader and authoritarian. It is important that administrators provide positive examples for others to follow; but as an administrator it is important to be in control as well. In choosing my topic, I decided to write about the ideology of Blake Mouton. For me to benefit from his leadership; it is important to understand where I stand in his grid test so that I may develop the skills necessary to become a good administrator. Before choosing which management style I believed to fall under; I decided to take the grid test to see what style of leadership I was most associated with. Upon taking the test I scored at 7.8 in people and 6.8 in task. It placed me within the “democratic” zone of the grid. The best in my opinion would be a combination of democratic and authoritarian styles of leadership. It is important that administrators provide positive examples for others to follow but as an administrator it is important to be in control also. Professional Communication

...present to another person. Being able to communicate proficiently is one of life’s most important skills. To develop better communication skills you should always be a good listener. It is not always best to be focused on what you should say because having proficient communication can sometimes be more about listening and less about speaking. Make sure to notice your body language, such as gestures through body movement, your facial expressions, or the tone of your voice. Also try not to avoid irrelevant conversation fillers such as “um” or “like”. Practicing these communication skills will help you to better communicate in the workplace, school, and social events. To be a good listener is to know the difference between listening to what someone says, and only hearing what they say. Actually listening helps you understand that person’s feelings and emotions that they are trying to communicate with you. If I do not listen to what someone is saying to me thoroughly, whatever that person is saying to me wouldn’t stay with me and I would have to ask them to keep repeating themselves. I have seen this technique used many times in hospitals, when a family is in need, such as finding a room or where one of their family members are located, the staff or the person that is helping them has to listen carefully to the family’s information or that person will not be able to help them. If I were to help someone in this case I would be engaged on everything they are saying to me and as soon as...
