David’s book acts as a general overview of the ancient Egyptians’ religious practices and beliefs. For a broad topic, this is a very short book; many facts and themes are mentioned, but are often skimmed often or do not delve into the topic as thoroughly as it could be. However, this serves the purpose of being a good source for overall, beginner facts that are otherwise skipped in other sources. This book also draws upon many aspects of Thoth that serve as a starting point for further research.
