The author of The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson, Lois Simmie has produced an incredible piece of art that both captivates/repulses her audience. She’s able to maintain the readers interest with the personality of her very really characters. The main and most powerful character being John Wilson, he is a man who monopolizes the sensitive hearts of two women. The purpose of this story is to show the true-nature of love, along with the mixed emotions that come with an unnatural betrayal. Is this story worth the read? Is it worth the time and resources the reader will have to spend?

Showing just how far Polly was willing to go for the man she commited herself to. Through every letter, through ever night and day she spent raising their children alone, she never stopped loving him.
