David’s Bridal is a leading clothier in the United States that deals with various types of products including weeding dresses, and prom gowns among other formal wear. The company started its operations as a small bridal boutique in Lauderdale in 1945. David’s Reisberg was the founder of the company, who decided to start producing wedding gowns for sale. Currently, the company operates in more than 300 stores spread in 45 states in the United States (David's Bridal, 2012a). The company has succeeded over the years and, hence, it provides the opportunity for scholars and other companies to evaluate what it implies to transform from a small scale firm into a leading organization in the industry. An evaluation of certain aspects including the environmental analysis, organizational analysis, and strategies implemented will be discussed in this paper.
