EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Mr. Nakamura recently takes over charges of his family business of lacquer ware. His brand “Chrysanthemum” is the top selling brand of only Japan. He wants to expand his business across the globe. But Japanese government does not allow direct investment foreign.
In the way two US Company approaches him for collaboration. First has fixed demand of 400000, with 5% more margin but no brand recognition of “Chrysanthemum”. Second has estimate demand of 600000 with brand recognition and also promotion cost for two years beard by him but profit is not provided for that period.
It is advised to collaborate with second as promotion is beard by him initially.

Mr. Nakamura the third generation of family had became the head of his family business of lacquer ware in Japan. It is the bestselling brand in Japan with demand over 5,00,000. But Nakamura has no business abroad. Recently two companies had approach Nakamura for his business expansion in United States. One is “Rose & Crown” and other is “ Semmelback, Semmelbach and Whittacker, Chicago”. Both has different proposal to Nakamura.
When he became the head of business he makes certain changes in company. He developed modern ways of production with simplest tool besides traditional methods of handicraft. This change makes demand increase to 5,00,000. Nakamura’s brand “Chrysanthemum” is best known for its good quality, middle-class and dependability. An advantageous structure is a structure that is beneficial and has favorable circumstances. In choosing business structure, one must choose the structure that best fits their business plans.
