What do people see as treasure; is it an object that only has value on a market or is it something that may have none at all on the market yet has a certain worth in a person's heart? People see treasure in different ways because everyone is different, one person can not decide what makes something treasure to another person. Treasure to some people happens to have sentimental value not only monetary value. Yet for those people something becomes treasure when they can value it and not just see the money they could get by getting rid of it. An object becomes treasure when it has sentimental value to a person not necessarily monetary value, having an object that only has monetary value makes the object valuable not something that could be considered treasure. …show more content…
”This King Midas was fonder of gold than of anything else in the world. He valued his royal crown chiefly because is was composed of that precious metal. If he loves anything better or half so well it was they one little maiden who played so merrily around her father’s footstool” (Hawthorne 443). This quote has significance because it shows that King Midas loved gold more than anything except, one thing that had no cash value. Though it was a human life he still loved it more than gold throughout all of it. It was said, he loved gold so much that he wanted to turn everything into gold and yet accidently turned his daughter into gold and no more did he love gold even close to how much he loved his daughter. Yet to him she became treasure despite having no monetary value. Based on the fact she happens to be a person, however, everything does have a certain type of

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...

La Singularidad

...NOTE: This PDF document has a handy set of “bookmarks” for it, which are accessible by pressing the Bookmarks tab on the left side of this window. ***************************************************** We are the last. The last generation to be unaugmented. The last generation to be intellectually alone. The last generation to be limited by our bodies. We are the first. The first generation to be augmented. The first generation to be intellectually together. The first generation to be limited only by our imaginations. We stand both before and after, balancing on the razor edge of the Event Horizon of the Singularity. That this sublime juxtapositional tautology has gone unnoticed until now is itself remarkable. We're so exquisitely privileged to be living in this time, to be born right on the precipice of the greatest paradigm shift in human history, the only thing that approaches the importance of that reality is finding like minds that realize the same, and being able to make some connection with them.
