All throughout the never ending days.....I go on
Without showing a single sign of pain....never do I frown
With a smile so fake plastered on my face each and everyday
That it even deceives me.....I've forgotten how to do the real thing anyway
And after hiding all this from you...its under the sheen of stars that I finally confide
The sad happenings of my life......the thorns i had to bore along by my side
Its under them and the gaze of pale moonlight..... that i cry my heart out......alone in the night!!!!!

"You aren't angry....I can see" after an argument you say....
Ahh!!! If only you knew about the storms underneath the calm bay
You keep on stabbing me straight at heart.....a million times
Sometimes by your harsh words....and sometimes its your mere silence that strikes
Yet still I cant tell you about everything that goes on deep inside....
Afraid that it might break us......you'll no longer be by my side!
Now that the darkness has come.....so far away...out of your sight
I cry, once again......all alone at midnight!!!!!

I don't know till how long I can keep my self under this burden....a mask
"I don't know why I don't end it for once and for all".... I ask
But i get no answers as usual.....no reassuring replies....
You are not there.....never there....to listen to all my woes and cries
Its high time I realize... if I don't break out of this soon....i'll be worse than stone
No emotions will be left to show.....but also no longer will be this need to moan....
Still I cant let the colors of my life.....not even the grey ones...leave me and fly but i all i can do about this.....is stand alone under the diamond studded sky in night...and cry!!!!!!!

~Now That You're Gone~

Now That You’re Gone
Now that you’re gone, I realize
How much you meant to me.
My loss is wide as a starless night sky,
And deep as a stormy sea.
I miss the comfort of your sweet love,
Your absolute devotion;
Now I’m a fountain of endless tears,
A pool of sad emotion.
They tell me I should move on with life,
That time will heal my pain;
I smile and nod and agree with them,
While I slowly go insane.

Struck in my own cobwebs,
Within the nooks deep in my heart;
I am unable to break free and make a new start,
Even sunlight seems mere shadow of a once glorious past.

Only the darkness now rules in life’s lonely lane,
With a few dusted memories,
Of joy, of celebration, of bliss, of fame;
I am now a deserted address, no letters for this forgotten name.

My lonesome heart yearns for those friends,
To wipe my tears and hold these shaking hands,
But world bows only to the rising sun;
The fallen stars are dirt for every one.

...Web sites serve different purposes. There are reliable and unreliable web sites. A personal web site, which expresses the interests and biases of its author, is a legitimate use of a web site, as long as the web site owner is up front about his or her identity. Like any other source, the authority of the author helps determine the value of the information. Be wary of sites which publish information without letting you know if the information is a personal viewpoint. 2. Is the website answers.com a reliable resource for writing an academic paper? Why or why not? My answer to this question is No; answers.com is not a reliable resource for writing academic papers. Answers.com is generally not considered a scholarly source. It is not peer reviewed as most reputable journals or other online or print material are that are considered "expert" sources. I do believe that Answers.com can be used to help in writing papers. Instead of quoting from what Answers.com says, you can...

...is one of the most important things that a child receives as they are growing up. Going to school was an adventure and everyday our brains were worked and we were able to expand our knowledge through discussion and other activities. This is not the case anymore. When the No Child Left behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) was passed it was meant to herald in a new generation in learning, where every child regardless of ethnicity, social status or gender would receive the same education. This has not been the case in fact many schools are worse off now than they were before this law was passed (Smyth, 2008). The NCLB was intended to increase the funding that government funded schools received through incentives. This law made it so that schools are required to use standardized testing in order to determine what students will move on to the next grade and determine how the school is doing as a whole. There are three major areas in which the NLCB addresses: 1) all states are required to create a standard to test students with, 2) develop test to ensure that the students are at the level that is required, and 3) create measure so that the state can determine if the all students attain the prescribed levels (Dillon, 2011). All of this looks good on paper once there is an attempt to implement these standards in the real world is where the NCLB begins to fail. Schools quickly learned that in order to receive the most amount of money they had to ensure that a high percentage of their...

...dictionary attacks (pp. 41-46). And Bluetooth is susceptible to a variety of attacks, including: bluesnarfing, bluejacking, bluebugging, car whisperer and fuzzing (pp. 47-48). According to Symantec’s Jonathan Hassell, in his 2010 article “Wireless Attacks and Penetration Testing”, there are three types of wireless network attacks: Denial of Service (DoS), man in the middle, and ARP Poisoning. Missing from his list is key-cracking or bypassing wireless authentication, but Hassell does not consider this a pure attack (p. 1). Regardless of Hassell’s definition of a wireless attack, there are a variety of attacks not provided within Module 9 that deserve consideration. The DoS attack focuses on denying the availability of a resource. Albert Caballero notes that such attacks vary in rationale, but consist of intentional, persistent efforts by one or a group of people to prohibit access to a website, device or online service (2009, p. 230).  Stuart Compton has written a SANS-published paper that focuses strictly on the 802.11 standard, DoS attacks and required mitigation. Compton categorizes these DoS attacks based on the layers...

...In a society that yearns for technology, there is one company whose name stands above the rest. That company is none other than Apple. Apple has provided technological advances for consumers since 1976. However, unknown to many, Apple does not only provide advancements in the technological aspects of the world. The company also contributes societal advancements through its social responsibilities and company ethics. Over the years, Apple has proven itself to be one of the most socially responsible companies in the United States. With numerous efforts to uphold labor laws, Apple has made changes to its practices concerning employees. One major employee related contribution Apple has made is the anti-discrimination policy. “Suppliers  shall not discriminate against any worker based on race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion, political affiliation, union membership, national origin, or marital status in hiring and employment practices such as applications for employment, promotions, rewards, access to training, job assignments, wages, benefits, discipline, and termination” (https://sites.google.com/a/email.vccs.edu/bus100jbushnaq/home/apple-inc-code-of-ethics-statement). Apple gives their workers, no matter the work location, a fair chance at advancing in the company. Allowing their workers to be able to have fair access based on experience and their credibility is a great way, especially in foreign companies, to show that you care about...

...The death penalty has been seen as a human rights issue as some regard it as 'cruel and degrading' treatment of individuals. This essay will concentrate on three out of the nine safeguards that are in place to protect those facing the death sentence. It will be argued that, in relation to the U.S.A, these safeguards are ineffective in practice. In some instances, U.S domestic law rather than the safeguards offer more protection, and in other instances, the Supreme Court plays a crucial role. Human rights are viewed by many as rights that are held by everyone simply by virtue of being a human being. Their foundation stems from the view that all individuals are equal, and that there are certain rights that everyone should have. In any discussion on human rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is of great importance. Its signing in 1948 by the United Nations (UN) marked the 'true start of the international protection of human rights.' The Declaration was a response to the atrocities committed during the Second World War. The Declaration set out fundamental rights; these included the right to life and freedom from torture. These two rights are of vital importance in relation to the death penalty. The problem though, is that the UN Declaration was not binding in law, it had to be ratified by a country for it to be binding. However, that country may exclude from ratification any Articles or Protocols with which it does not agree. Amnesty International (A.I.) is strongly...

...Name: CASILIHAN, Pedreel Christian P. FINAL PAPER in World Literature SEA STORY by A.S. Byatt The purpose of analyzing a story is to understand more what is hidden behind the story itself, it is to look between the lines. Like, why is the ending like that, or why is the character behaving like that. What are those events for, why are they happening and so much more. There are many questions that can be answered when we analyze a story and look deeply into it. This is very important because every story has it’s own relevance in our own lives, or maybe in our society. Usually, a story has it’s own moral lesson, or for the reader to learn and experience. This enables the reader to relate it to his or her life, what are the similarities and differences. One can analyze if some of the happenings in the story are true to life or not. In every setting, characters, and events that occur in the story, each has it’s own interpretation. It is also helpful in such a way to enhance the reader’s analytical skills. It is also to know more about the author itself, what the author is trying to tell us. What is his/her main focus, main goal, or objectives in creating such story. Is the author delivering us a message? Or waking us up in reality? There are a lot of things that we can reveal when we deeply analyze a story. It is not about how it began, or how it ended, but how the story goes and what are the techniques that the author used to portray a certain event. There can be symbols...

5 Forces Analysis

...5 Forces Analysis on the Paper Industry Looking at the position of the paper industry relative to the five forces model I had to determine exactly what constituted the paper industry. I had to decide between the Paper Mills Industry and Pulp Mills Industry and ultimately decided to analyze the Paper Mills Industry specifically when it came to paper industry as a whole. The NAICS Code that corresponds to the Paper Mills Industry is NAICS: 322121 or SIC Code 2621. Porter’s Five Forces Model of Competition includes the firm’s, or in this case the paper mill industry’s, position relative to current competitors, suppliers, customers, potential new entrants and potential substitutes. Over the next few pages I will conduct a five forces analysis of the Paper Mills Industry. Current Competitors: The degree of rivalry in the paper industry is the center of the five forces and the other four forces branch off of this. The first aspect to look at is the number and position of companies within the paper industry. There were 445 companies in 2009 and as of 2013 there are now 119 companies in the industry. This industry still has many competitors within the industry and therefor, there shouldn’t be any impact of any particular company. This industry is large enough where these firms can prosper without having to steal market share from each other and this is a positive for the paper industry. The second key factor is the industry growth rate and if there is room to increase revenues...

...writing the introduction to the paper. Next, I do the actual writing of the paper and describe each topic in more detail. The last step is to, I revise it in case of any errors. I also revise it to make it better. Each step is important in order to make my writing good. I will discuss in depth and detail about each part of my writing process. As soon as I get the topic and know what I am to write about, I think to myself of some of the ideas that I have that could relate to this piece of writing. Often times, I come up with a story in my own life that can relate or something that I know of that can influence my paper to have more meaning, not only to the reader, but also to me. It will make writing the paper easier if you can make a connection to the topic and relate it to yourself somehow. If I don’t really have a way to connect it I just brainstorm for things or ideas that can be included or used in the piece. I make a list of things pertaining to the paper so I can go through the list easier. If it is a really detailed piece, I sometimes use the web process. If it is necessary to the paper, I will research the topic and try to gather more information about it. If not, I just stick to the list or web. Each one of my idea gathering processes has its benefits and is used depending on the type of paper I need to write. At this point, I would now have all of my ideas and my “helpers” in writing my paper. I would start with the introduction of my paper. In a few paragraphs, I would...
