Time Management and Stress
Managing my time wisely is very important to me. Throughout my day I have many obligations that include the daily chores that any other stay at home mother entails. Being a stay at home mom and also a student leaves me stressed at times because of my poor ability in managing my time carefully. I fall into ruts where I “don’t have the time” to accomplish everything, when really I do if I just took the time to learn more on how to manage my time better. I need to find a way or ways that I can achieve all of my tasks so that it leaves me at ease throughout the day and not feeling so overwhelmed. So what are the steps that I would follow to get the answer to my question? Gather Information In order to get information for my problem I need to do some research on time management. The research that I am looking for will give me strategies and helpful tips in helping me manage my time without becoming stressed. Information will come from scholarly material, testimonials, and even from the internet. When searching I will make sure that I am gathering information that will help answer and lead me towards a solution for my problem. Once I have gathered all my information I will do the following:
Analyze and Clarify Our text, Keys to College Studying: Becoming an Active Thinker, states that analyzing information is important because it helps us determine if the information is reliable and useful in helping us answer our question. Breaking down the information will allow me to see how they relate and which ones will work best for me. In my situation, I may not agree on all the information given. Maybe there is one way that I would rather go about answering my question than another. Analyzing will help me determine this.
Compare and Contrast I will compare and contrast each tip and/or strategy and see which ones will benefit
