Toyon Middle School Happier Place Analysis

Toyon Middle School has recently began a mission to make the school a happier place, through respect, compassion, and opportunity and I don’t think it’s going to work for many valid reasons I am ready to share with whomever it may concern. In my twelve, almost thirteen, years of life I have found that kids, and adults alike, only show you what they want you to see. You may think you have obliterate a problem, (concerning people typically) but you have barely scratched the surface. It’s like putting a coat of paint on a house, that’s falling apart, it’s not fixing the problem it’s just making it look nicer. Because that’s what people do, they lie and cheat and steal and manipulate you into thinking whatever they want you to think and children do that, maybe not all of those things but they trick you into thinking everything is completely fine and in reality it’s not. I have also found that if you right off the bat tell someone to do something, often things in these sort of situations, they won’t do it. Talking gets you nowhere. That is one of the main problems with America, they talk and talk and never do anything to back up their plans. That is what I feel has lead to much of the distrust between America and the rest of the world. They take action when it suits them, but if some country is in dire need of help them wouldn’t lift a finger to help. Talking is great for planning but it has no further use. If you do something to reach your goals than people with respect you for it. They will presume you’re going to follow through with your plans. If they know you’re not going to do something about, for example bullying, they will continue to do it without fear of punishment and it won’t stop ever.
