Total Parenteral Nutrition or for short TPN is an expensive but life-saving therapy that provides the correct nutritional needs required by the body so it may function normally and help with a patient’s recovery process.
People of all ages; infants, children, as well as adults can receive TPN for as long as it is needed. Some patients may require this therapy for a short time and there are other patients who have received TPN at home for a lifetime with close monitoring.
TPN solution is mixed daily under sterile conditions. TPN solutions contain dextrose, protein, lipids, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, and phosphate. Trace elements such as zinc, copper, manganese and chromium are also needed, and vitamins can also be included. Insulin, a hormone that helps the body use sugar, may need to be added as well. Solutions may be modified based on laboratory results, underlying disorders, or other factors. …show more content…

The Importance Of Digital Steganography

...Almost all digital files can be used for steganography, but the formats of file that are more suitable are those with a high degree of redundancy. Redundancy can be defined as object bits that provide accuracy far greater than necessary for the object’s use and demonstration. The repetitive bits of an object are those bits that can be altered without the alteration being detected easily. Image and video files especially comply with this requirement, while research has also uncovered other file manuscripts that can be used for data hiding.
