...Twilight People that are compose of students, high educated, house wife, read the book s and novels first, and then go out to see the movies just to be able to put an image on what they had already imagine by reading the book. I personally have not read any of these books or novels in relation to the twilight saga, and not even watch any of the movies. However, curiosity has taken over me because I see so much propaganda about this new movie the Breaking Dawn that I have decided that in order to be able to see this movie that many are talking about I needed to get familiar with the whole drama from the beginning. That’s how I get to Twilight the very first movie, one of the reason why I didn’t have interest of the movie was because being a fictions movie, the setting is not that appealing well I guess we are talking about vampire and they can’t be in the light, so I guess it is not appealing to me watching movie with dark backgrounds, I guess living in Washington state is not either a place to be if you are a happy outgoing person they said if you want to be depress move to the west coast. The movie takes place in a small town called Forks in the state of Washington which claim to have populations of 3,120. The town seems to be very heartwarming where everyone knows each other and good things are the only thing that happens. Bella which is the star of the movies decides to move there with her dad whom happen to be the chief of police in the town she starts attending......

...Vampire Twilight I would like to suggest an interesting book about a young adult vampire romance novel by author Stephenie Meyer. It is the first book of the Twilight series. Bella Swan, who moves from Phoenix to Forks. She is falling in love with Edward Cullen, a vampire. Additional novels in the series are New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. A seventeen year old Bella Swan leaves Arizona to live with her father in the small and clouded house in Forks she doesn’t like it. Living in Forks, with its constant mist and rain, wasn’t bad much she will have to make a whole new friends a new school. Edward and his whole family are vampires. Edward himself was made a vampire when he was seventeen years old. Edward and his family are vampires who drink animal blood. First day at school, he seems disgust her. He disappears for a few days. Another day Edward saves Bella by stopping the van with only his hand because Bella is nearly crushed by Tyler's van in the school parking, it makes Bella want to know Edward more. Bella is saved by Edward again when she is almost attacked after that Edward takes Bella to dinner and home. On the car, she tells him of the stories that he is a vampire. ...Twilight Summary Twilight begins with an unnamed narrator (whom we later find out is Bella) giving a brief account about how she is about to die at the hands of a hunter. She is dying in the place of someone she loves, and the narrator does not regret any of the choices that brought her to this point. The past few months have been extraordinary, and she can’t complain. Zip! Now we’re following the life of Isabella “Bella” Swan, our seventeen-year-old narrator. Bella is moving to Forks, Washington, to live with her dad. We later learn that she volunteered to do this so that she wouldn’t hold her mother back from spending more time with her mother’s new husband. Forks is isolated, cold, dreary, and wet, and Bella’s relationship with her dad is distant, since she was raised by her mother in Phoenix. Bella's new life is dull until she gets a glimpse of the Cullen family – five gorgeous, mesmerizing siblings who attend her high school. She learns they do not socialize with anyone but each other. One of the boys in particular, Edward, pays her close attention and seems to regard her with alarming hostility when she's forced to sit next to him in Biology class. The next day, he is absent from school. Bella continues to adapt to her new life in Forks. She gets a lot more attention from boys than she was used to in Phoenix. She makes several friends quickly. A few days later, Edward finally is back in school. Now he’s friendly to Bella. His mere presence excites her. That afternoon...

Harry and Twilight

...There is a new war happening all over the world, but it is not world war three. It is a war that is waging between the fans of two extremely popular book series that have also made their way to the big screen and in to our homes. The fans of the Harry potter series and the fans of The Twilight Saga are feuding over which one is better. I have seen words thrown back and forth on social media sites such as facebook and twitter that you would think would belong to people arguing over some important political issue or something along those lines. Harry Potter and Twilight are two of the biggest selling franchises and should both be treated equally by the fans of either. Harry Potter is a seven book series written by author J.K. Rowling that takes place in Europe, in a magical fantasy version of today’s reality. The series targets older children and young adults, but has grown into a phenomenal fad that has fans from one to one hundred. The story follows a young boy, Harry Potter, throughout his years at a school for witchcraft and wizardry. The story line has ups and downs, twists and turns and details that bring the world of Harry Potter to life right in front of your eyes. The Twilight Saga is a four book series written by author Stephanie Meyer that takes place in Forks, Washington. This series targets a little older audience than Harry Potter does, reaching out to teenage readers and older. While the fan base for this series might not reach as young of a crowd, it......

Review of Twilight

...Plot 1923 Twilight is a classic love story, but the author has written it in an interesting twist between love and fantasy. I wouldn’t say that the story is original but the way the author, Stephanie Meyer explains things in it makes it special. If I’d put this book in a shelf at the library I wouldn’t really be able to decide where it should be, if it should be in the shelf of fantasy books or in the shelf in the category of love stories. Personally I’m not a big fan of fantasy books but I Twilight has got “the best of both worlds” without that’s getting out of hand. These books in the series are all written from Bella’s perspective except some parts where you can read it from Jacob’s, which I think that it makes it extra interesting. Setting The book takes place in Forks what is a small town in Washington, United States and when you read the book you’ll understand it. In Forks the population is just over 3000. It’s often raining and barely sunshine, even in summer time. The author Stephanie Meyer describes it well in the book and there’s also a reason why the books takes place there. In the book they say that vampires can’t be shown in sunshine without people would understand they’re different, because when they do their skin gets shiny, just as sparkling glitter. Characters In this book there are three main characters, Bella, Edward and Jacob. Bella is an ordinary teenage girl how falls in unconditionally in love with the boy in her school, Edward who is a......

Book Review of Twilight

...BOOK: TWILIGHT AUTHOR: Stephenie Meyer TWILIGHT The book that I choose to write review is Twilight. The book twilight is about the life of 17 years old girl, Bella Swan thattransfers to forks to live with her father. She is very simple and falls in love with Edward who turns out to be a vampire those affections with a vegetarian vampire family. Everything goes nicelyuntil other vampires come to fork and want to eat Bella. It’s a combination of a great love story with great action and suspense. The main idea of this story thoughts that the author would like to convey is human falling in true love with each other, sacrifice, physical isolation and fear. Firstly love is one of the main ideas of this book. As example, Isa Bella, who prefers to be known as Bella, is a 17 year old girl. She leaves Phoenix, Arizona, to go living with her father in Forks, Washington, in the ambition of giving her mother the chance to travel with her new husband. She feels attracted to Edward Cullen when she meets him in Forks High School. When she determines that he's a vampire, her attraction blooms into full-fledged first love. Originally, Edward just wanted to eat her, but insufficiently realizes eventually that in fact what he is feeling is true love, and after a few days they start dating. After two or three weeks, Bella is begging Edward to turn her into a vampire because of true love.......

Twilight Review

...NOTE: This review is the fair and unbiased opinion of someone with extremely little knowledge of the Twilight series. I watched the movie with a few die hard fans who I talked to after the movie, and I will work some of their thoughts into the review. Another much loved book series has been brought to life in the form of Twilight, which despite having nothing in common with the Harry Potter series, will undoubtedly draw comparisons because of the furor and craze surrounding it. The main difference between the two, however, is that the Harry Potter films are generally good and solid films. Twilight, despite having done a couple things right, is not. As a story, I will admit, Twilight is very catchy and interesting. Now I see what all the hype is about. If I was a young girl, I would go nuts over this stuff too. It's not just a vampire and a human falling in love with each other, but because of the two leads, it's one of the best on screen romances of the decade. This, however, is severely hurt by the fact that Twilight boasts easily some of the worst writing and editing I've ever seen. Let's not forget about the horrid VFX and pasty makeup, either. It's one of the cheesiest films of the year, and can definitely be put in the category of "so bad it's ALMOST good". Yes, I just invented that category. The 'allure' of the film appears to be the character played by Robert Pattinson, who ironically was previously known for his role in the Harry Potter series. Pattinson......

Twilight Romance Story

...* ------------------------------------------------- Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period. He's intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance - unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right - vampire. But he doesn't have fangs - that's just in the movies. And he doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and......

The Good the Bad and the Sparkly

...irrevocably in love with him,” says Bella Swan in Twilight (Meyer 195). This sums up the major points of this book – vampires, love and self-control. Many parents feel that Twilight portrays unhealthy relationships and creates celebrity idol worship, both of which are believed to have a powerfully negative effect on society. These two people came together no differently than any normal human beings get together in high school, with mutual interests, like their knowledge of biology and their taste in music. Twilight encourages abstinence until marriage, and although the final novel, Breaking Dawn, has some underlying sexual themes, they purely pertain to the plot and are not described in scenes, only referenced to. Still, the books are far cleaner than what’s found in other books written for the same age range, television, movies, and magazines. The relationship between Bella and Edward is based on mostly compassion instead of the physical relationship that is portrayed on television. The media argues that all Twilight readers are infatuated with Edward Cullen, and buff hard body Jacob, yet most of the readers of the Twilight saga are not unhealthily obsessed with the characters or actors portraying them. Celebrity fixation has always been a part of teen culture, and hasn’t every generation had a teen heartthrob, do we remember, Elvis, Shawn Cassidy, The Beetles, New Kids of the Block? The New York Times review stated, "The premise of Twilight is attractive and compelling —......

...In 2005, almost every female on Earth has the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyers. But yet, I don’t have a copy of that book myself. So what’s so special about this particular book that even the New York Times claims it to be the best seller? I’ve decided to go to Barnes and Noble and bought myself the famous first book of the Twilight Saga: Twilight. To me, the cover looks very plain, but also very mysterious. It makes me wonder why all these girls from ages 15 would and over wants to read a book that has a pair of hands holding a red apple. It made me feel like something is killing the innocence of something. Anyways, so as soon as I got my hands on that book, I actually didn’t bother to read the back of the book. I honestly think the book is going to be boring and pointless to even waste my time on. I don’t think I’m suppose to spoil this for anyone but Twilight is basically about this girl named Bella left her hometown to live with her dad in Forks for a while. She started going to school in Forks and met Edward, which sooner or later found out that Edward is a vampire and him and his family have been living there for centuries. I actually like this book because of the story line creating an image in your head that makes you feel like you are actually in it. Over all this is a pretty good...
