Twilight People that are compose of students, high educated, house wife, read the book s and novels first, and then go out to see the movies just to be able to put an image on what they had already imagine by reading the book. I personally have not read any of these books or novels in relation to the twilight saga, and not even watch any of the movies. However, curiosity has taken over me because I see so much propaganda about this new movie the Breaking Dawn that I have decided that in order to be able to see this movie that many are talking about I needed to get familiar with the whole drama from the beginning. That’s how I get to Twilight the very first movie, one of the reason why I didn’t have interest of the movie was because being a fictions movie, the setting is not that appealing well I guess we are talking about vampire and they can’t be in the light, so I guess it is not appealing to me watching movie with dark backgrounds, I guess living in Washington state is not either a place to be if you are a happy outgoing person they said if you want to be depress move to the west coast. The movie takes place in a small town called Forks in the state of Washington which claim to have populations of 3,120. The town seems to be very heartwarming where everyone knows each other and good things are the only thing that happens. Bella which is the star of the movies decides to move there with her dad whom happen to be the chief of police in the town she starts attending school at Forks High School where she meets Edward (the vampire). He is a handsome young guy literally speaking even though he can be as old as 300 years. The character in this movie I mean the principle ones are all depicted as really pale with strong red lips different from the normal humans. Bella even though she is human for some strange reason after living for so many years in Arizona has never had a tan so she looks just like these so called vampires. The scenes in this movie are mostly outdoors scenes filled with trees, lakes big trees forest type of scenes. I enjoyed just watching how beautiful if in deed is the state of Washington, geographically is a place where I will like to visit. The Director of this movie wants his audience to understand that good always can reign over evil, and by introducing some culture into the movie gives us an idea of how protective the mountain people in this case the Indian people (Jacob) and his dad, they symbolize the protection werewolf are strong animals they can be kind but at the same time they will be overly protective. Also the red apple that falls from Bella’s hand s and Edward kicks up and catch into his hand. This is exactly what the cover of the book portraits, the apple on the cover of Twilight represents "forbidden fruit" the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil” that’s exactly what Bella ends up with. A working knowledge of what good is, and what evil is. I guess the Stephanie Meyer wanted to portrait how a weak looking girl, is not as weak as she looks she is not afraid of anything not even a vampire trying to suck her blood. She really puts in perspective woman strength to overcome evil, even though as men we are the stronger class, but like I always say in my home I might be the strong guy but my wife is the one with all the knowledge. One of the scene that really interest me was when the family went to play baseball they could only play this game when it a thunderstorm was approaching this because the sounds they made every time they hit the ball would collide with the sounds of thunder otherwise they could have been heard from far away. The reason why the author portraits Edward as a dazzling diamond when in the sun I really didn’t understand but I would guess that she just wanted to make him not as evil as he seemed to be. The movie overall has a good drama even though is fiction, is just reading a snow white, Cinderella story, the only thing in this case we have good and bad vampires, and the wolf which in this movie they were just shown once but it symbolize the protection over evil. In our culture we are mix, and in great part we have Indian decent where some of us might believe in the spirits of the good and the evil, I saw Jacob like the watch dog literally speaking, you can see an interest but not sure of a brother being over protective. The movie scenery are great the action is awesome, but I will say it was slow I guess for a guy like me not into these kind of movies. I could see where girls will go crazy over the actors and the whole love story behind it, but I wouldn’t like to go out with a girl who is as pale as snow and as cold as ice. This movie should have started maybe telling us where did these vampire came from, and why the actress was depicted as pale as the vampire but wasn’t one of them. I guess vampire do fly because throughout the movie we see Edward hopping or flying from tree to tree Bella. Anyways this is my critique about this film it isn’t as bad as I thought it will be but not as good either, I will leave it to the fans and to the girls that love to watch these chick flick. Aside that we have to take in consideration that the author of the book is a woman, think I rather go with harry potter it might be more action prone ten this one.
