Twyla is a mother of 2 children: Jonah (14) and Jason (9). Twyla disclosed that being a mother is the greatest joy of her life. Twyla describes Jonah as an ongoing teenage. Twyla describes Jason as anxious child, who is a little dramatic, and likes to be alone playing with his Legos. She expects for both of her children to go to college, to be happy, have a profession, and be in a good environment.

Twyla discipline method…show more content… Norma disclosed that she disciplines Jason by tapping the newspaper on the dinner table to caught his attention, and sends him to his room. Norma is described by collaterals, as a loving and caring mother and grandmother with no concern for physical discipline as a mother or as a grandmother.
ANALYSIS:
At this time, Norma is meeting Jason and Jonah basic and essential needs for food and supervision while in her care. Jason and Jonah have not been seriously harmed and there is no indication of likely to be harmed under the care of Norma. Jason and Jonah were free of marks or bruises. Norma does not show any signs of threatening to seriously harm the children and does not view the children in an extremely negative way that may result in a serious harm to them. Norma seems to be very caring and protective towards Jason and Jonah.
