Level of influence that each stakeholders exert on the business
Within a business there are different people that can influence the way your business is run. These individuals are known as stakeholders and they all have different amount of influence as they all have different amounts of power. The type of stakeholders have already been discusses in my other pieces of work along with how they operate.

Employees
Employees are a very important stakeholder within Mercedes Benz as they have 270000 employees that are working around the world. As Mercedes Benz are a very large organisation this means that they have many different types of employees that work for them. All these employees have a part in the business but they do not share the same amount of influential power to change the direction of the business. This is because some employees are directly involved in the decision making for the products and some are just obliged to follow the orders. In order for Mercedes Benz to keep their employees working at an optimum level they must make sure that their employees are happy within their place of work and this is done by the human resources department within Mercedes Benz. If the human resources team within Mercedes Benz is not happy this could cause serious problems as motivation plays a big key in the way Mercedes Benz operates and if the HR team isn’t happy they can stop this motivation giving them some degree on influence over the business.
Some employees such as the head engineers have much more say in how the final products are made as they are trained professionals that are specifically employed to better the business. This allows them to exert much more power on to the business as they are experts in their fields and they are being paid to do exactly that. If the engineers are not satisfied with the type of working conditions that they are in or their

...Interpersonal skills Verbal Exchanges: Sign language, lip reading This is the most part if you’re working in a team by talking to your team members you can communicate about the task and learn the way the other people think in your team, lip reading and sign language can be also used for people who have trouble hearing although sign language requires an understanding of how to do sign language from both the people which is less likely for that to be an effective way of communicating Although it is a good way to communicate, there is a danger of people going off topic and not focusing on the task at hand when they are talking to others in their group. Written messages can be used instead, which allows the team to write out their ideas in a clear and concise way, without veering off topic. Using Body languages Nonverbal exchanges The most common form of it would be body language in some cases it is very useful and informative body language describes how a person moves and acts when there addressing themselves to someone by looking at the body language you can see the types of attitudes to the people in your group which allows you to change topic when they start to become bored, which will increase the level of information that is passed through the group. This can be bad as well if the person in the group is showing negative body language such as crossing their arms as it will make the rest of team less likely to want to speak to them. Using body languages can also be observed...

...For this task I will be ranking the stakeholders for Tesco in order of influence. I will also give reasons to explain why I believe the stakeholders at the top of my list are more important than the ones on the bottom. Stakeholders have a variety of different influences on how a business is run. And they can all play a part in the success of a business in one way or another. 1- Customers- The stakeholder that I believe has the most influence on Tesco and its success is the customers, the reason for this is that the customers are the ones who buy the products that Tesco sell. Therefore if Tesco did not have any customers then their business would not work as they will have no one buying their goods. 2- Employees- The stakeholder I would put in second would be the employees, as they also play a big influence in the success of a business. This is because they carry out day to day jobs within Tesco, such as stacking shelves and making sure everything is suited to the customers’ needs. Employees also play a big impact on Tesco’s aims as without employees they would not be able to operate. Therefore it is important that Tesco take care of their internal stakeholders, as if there internal stakeholders are happy they can then tell their friend/family about the company. 3- Shareholders Shareholders have a direct influence on an organisations aims and objectives. This is because shareholders want the business to increase the profits or the growth as it means that...

...D1 – Evaluate the effects of a selected business changing its ownership status My chosen business for D1 is Pandora Jewellery. I have chosen this business because they are currently a publicly traded company so if they were to turn into a private limited company a lot of things would change in and around the business. An advantage of Pandora Jewellery getting new ownership by turning into a private limited company is that more stores will open globally meaning more merchandise will be sold. The more merchandise that is sold then the more income the business will be receiving. Also the fact that more stores will open globally makes the businesses popularity grow at a very high rate. Another advantage that Pandora would receive is they were to change to a private limited company is that no one would be able to put shares into the business so all income received will go to Pandora and the workers. This is an advantage because Pandora being a publicly traded company means that people are able to put shares into the business meaning they get a fraction of the income that Pandora receive resulting in Pandora losing out on a bit of money. A disadvantage of Pandora Jewellery getting new ownership by turning into a private limited company is that it has restricted capital raising. This means that for Private Limited Companies, there is a much less income of capital because the sale of shares is very low compared to what it could be if they were a publicly traded...

...D1 I feel in the school, the methods that have been put in place to try and overcome the barriers of communication are rather effective. The school have used various methods to overcome hearing impairment, such as in planners they have put the BSL alphabet so the people can be aware of the language and understand why hearing impaired people use all the hand gestures, also its so the children can learn the BSL alphabet in their own accord. In the school there is also a hearing impairment unit for people with a hearing impairment to go to get extra support and be able to socialise with each other, other students can also volunteer to help out to understand it more. Students who have a hearing impairment are put into some lessons with other children who don’t have a hearing impairment, they have a teacher who can sign with them for extra support. This gives them a chance to socialise with other students and this knocks the barrier down and helps students understand hearing impairment more. The school haven’t dealt with sight impairments very well at all, as only this year ramps have been put in place, to help with wheel chair access as well. Also there is no unit for students to go to for support, which can cause students to then feel isolated. Also there is nothing around the school to let other students know how to deal with situations and that will cause a communication failure. The culture barrier in Llantarnam School is addressed quite well by making R.S a compulsory subject...

...D1: Evaluate the effectiveness of the use of techniques used in marketing products in one organisation. In every business there are several different ways they can become successful for example: they can produce aims and objectives which helps them to plan for what they want to accomplish in the future. This will mean that they’ll know in which areas they need to grow and in which direction they want to move, and furthermore it will help them achieve their target goal. Toyota is doing just this, creating aims and objectives and through these they have achieved the top place in the market becoming market leaders, being far ahead of their competition. Since their start Toyota have created a name for themselves, a name of offering the best quality cars with the most economical price tags and widest variety of product. Because of these virtues coupled with Toyotas amazing customer service, customers choose them over their rivals, furthermore Toyota have created many pioneering ideas, that many of their competition haven’t yet produced e.g. their hybrid cars. Due to the huge amount of customers they receive they incur huge profits, in April till June 2014 ‘Toyota Motor Corp’ announced that there net income had risen to 5.7 billion dollars as sales took a sharp incline in the US, which has eclipsed the previously largest market which was Japan. This infers just how high quality their merchandise is, as customers return and as profits have risen over the last year and a half by approximately...

Customers are interested in the business because they are the ones who use the products/service which it provides. I think the customers are the most important stakeholders for costa as without the customers they would make no money and the business would shut down. The NHS was founded in 1948 in an attempt by the then heath secretary, Aneurin Bevan, to bring good healthcare to all. It was founded to provide affordable healthcare to the citizens of the UK who need it. Today the NHS has a very good reputation as it continues to provide good healthcare to those in need, they currently employ over 1.6 million government people to achieve this endeavour. The NHS is a national business as it only operates in the UK and only provides its services to those living in the UK. It only operates in the tertiary sector as they provide a service for the public but do not manufacture, sell or harvest raw materials. Because it is a public business it doesn’t make a profit instead it uses it’s funding to help with the financial burden of medical procedures. There are down sides to this for example the NHS don’t always have the most up to date equipment. Because the service is maintained and paid for by the government they are the ones that will be held liable for any problems with the way the NHS runs or if it overspends.
