As you can see in the Table above the variety of personnel computers in today's market place is vast. Selecting one that fits your requirement as become more difficult because of all the options available. In this case we're going to look at three professions which are an Educator, Doctor, Graphics Designer, and try to match there professions to the best computer based on the data shown above. I'll start with the Educator. What type of information would this profession be using on a computer. Calculations? English? Science? These are all examples of the type of work that might be done. Based on the information provided, I believe that number one would best suit this profession. Why? To me the deciding factor is cost. The machine has ample hard disk space (which stores the information) ample RAM which effects active performance, and an okay processor. I also evaluated the GPD in each machine which I will explain latter, but for now it's not a deal breaker in this profession. Moving on to the Doctor and using the same process as before. What type of activities does the Doctor perform using a computer? In this case I would think that number four would be a good option. Here's why, as a Doctor I would think that being mobile is necessary and having the computing power of a good processor is critical in today's medical software. With all the information sharing and data imputing the RAM would also be critical, not to mention the GPU and its ability to video conference other specialists if necessary. Lastly our Graphic's Designer. In short it's all about GPU, RAM, Hard Drive space, and CPU power. So yes number two reigns supreme in this profession. Why? Because Graphics use a ton of bites as you know for example that 24-bit color equates to 16,777,216 different colors. In today's standard of HD 48-bit color is pretty much it. You need a really strong GPU, RAM, and Processor to render those types of calculations and a lot of memory (hard disk) to store all the bites.

Proposed Frequent Shopper Rewards Program

...Kudler Fine Foods – Proposed Frequent Shopper Rewards Program BSA/375 Todd Feuerherm December 21, 2014 Introduction In Figure 1, we have a basic example of the data being processed through our reward point’s program database. First we have qualifying purchases that determine what points from purchases are rewarded in the transaction. Then we have a designated purchase behavior section that will determine what the customer mostly likes in their purchases and what they mostly buy. Total allocated points are information of points gathered from the customer’s purchases and the total amount available in their rewards history. Preferred purchases is also their purchase behavior but a little more in-depth of what the customers like and are more likely to have interest in when making another purchase. This helps give out certain advertisements to our customers that, through their purchasing behavior, they will find most interesting and highly probable of purchasing. Scope For the scope of this project, implementing a tracking system for customer loyalty is the primary scope of the improvement. The implementation will have an effect throughout the organization as the new Information Technology (IT) customer tracking system will be implemented organization wide. Therefore the scope of examination should be limited to the sales and marketing sections. Scope creep should be limited to changes that provide a significant tangible or intangible impact on the overall business. Functions...

...w. wi l ey .c om/ c o l le ge / aak CASE 5-1 Barkley Foods Joyce Stevenson, the manager of marketing research for Barkley Foods, had just left an emergency meeting with the firm’s president. An opportunity to buy an established line of gourmet (high-quality/high-priced) frozen dinners had arisen. Because there were other interested buyers, a decision had to be made within three or four weeks. This decision depended on judgments about the future prospects of the gourmet frozen dinner market and whether Barkley could achieve a competitive advantage. The marketing research group was asked to provide as much useful information as possible within a 10-day period. Although uncomfortable with the time pressure involved, Joyce was pleased that marketing had finally been asked to participate in the analysis of acquisition prospects. She had pressed for such participation and now she had to deliver. Because of prior work on frozen fruit juices, Joyce had some knowledge of the gourmet frozen market. It was pioneered by Stouffer, who introduced the Lean Cuisine line of entrees in 1981. Since then, other firms have entered the industry with complete gourmet dinners (including Swanson’s Le Menu and Armour’s Dinner Classics). The distinction between entrees, dinners, and the three main types of food offered— conventional, ethnic (i.e., Benihana Restaurant Classics), or low-calorie (i.e., Weight Watchers or Light & Elegant)—define relevant submarkets. Joyce hypothesized that the gourmet...
