Moses

...portrayal of Moses by Philo of Alexandria in his book "De Vita Mosis." Evaluation: This is an important article because it contain lot of information about the Miracle Moses was able to make when he was trying to get the people out of Egypt. Investigating the question of Moses as magician in modernity might seem hardly a meaningful venture. After all, the figure of Moses was established in the period between humanism and the Enlightenment much more obviously as the founder of a de-mythologized religion, in which things like magic had just been overcome. People thought that Moses was a magician; however, he was getting his power from God. Applicability: This article is interesting, and I found it very interesting. I will use it in my term paper to demonstrate what Moses has achieved to bring the people out of Egypt and where he got his power from. I will also explain what happen near the Mount Sinai when Moses was tending sheep and saw a bush that appeared to burn but was not destroyed. ANISFELD, MOSHE. "Why Was Moses Barred From Leading The People Into The Promised Land? A Psychotbeological Answer." Jewish Bible Quarterly 39.4 (2011): 211-220. Academic Search Premier. Web. 26 Feb. 2013. Summary: The article presents a theory that Moses was barred from entering the land because he failed to counteract the people's...

Cupeled with Dueteronomy7:7 which states Israel was indeed a small people has led scholars to formulate many theories about the size of Israel. This paper will explore and give the proper interpretations to the texts Numbers 26:51 and Dueteronomy7:7. History of interpretation The basis upon which proponents of the argument that Israel was a numerically small unit are one, they view the scripture as fables, that it was composed by people trying to validate their status. Anderson argues that there is overwhelming evidence of folklore in the story of Jacob and Joseph, and as to how Israel got into Egypt. It is not a biographical account but a story for edification.[1] Two, scholars who promote the Documentary Hypotheses also base their arguments on the belief that scriptures were composed by sources namely, J,E,D,P; and later edited...

Laws should be the objective expressions of the nature of reality rather than merely the subjective prejudices or whims of some person, group of people, or society as a whole. Natural law is objective since it is inherent in the nature of the entity to which it relates. The content of natural law is accessible to human reason. For example, it is easily understood that since each man has a natural right to survive, flourish, and pursue his own happiness, no other man or group of men should attempt to deprive him of a chosen value or action through the initiation or threat of force. Historically, socially emergent ideas of legal principles, oftentimes in accord with the nature of reality...

It is like a homework task that a good advertising/marketing/sales person would always carry out before (and after) implementing the said product's advertising/marketing strategy. By collecting data with the help of research methods, the researcher can manage to understand the consumer, what he wants, when he wants it, and how he wants it. Research methodologies, more or less, aim to reveal consumers’ different perceptions of the product, in large part about the way it is advertised. The researcher wants to know how effective the advertisement is on his listeners, where the strategy falls short, and where it can improve. Ultimately, it can be said that the most important task of advertising/marketing research is to increase the sales of the product. This requires a well developed...
