Choosing a Computer based on 3 different professions After checking the table of computer comparison I can mention that a computer shopper has to purchase a computer depends of their needing and the purpose for they want to use the computer. Such as, an educator will need a computer whit a 4GB RAM amount, at less 500 GB for a Hard Drive Size and a Processor Speed of 1.8 GHz because they most of the time use Power Point and Internet, and they don’t use to store a lot of information on their computers. Also I can mention that a graphic designer will need a computer with the following features. System Memory (RAM) 16GB, a Hard Drive of 1TB can upgrade to 2TB and a Processor Speed of 2.81GHz. A graphic designer will need a computer will at less this features because they need store a lot of data information. As well be able to make graphics in different kind of dimensions and finally a really good definition of colors. For this reasons a lot graphic designer prefer to buy a Mac Computer because they offer extreme computer......

...Table of Computer Comparison Choosing a Computer based on 3 different professions When a shopper is looking for a computer they just don’t look at the price they look to see if it fits all the needs that it will be used for. They also look to see if the computer if going to be at a fixed location or it has to be portable. So, after looking over the table of computer comparison, I was able to determine what profession the computer would be the best fit for all there need. A Teacher would need a computer like the DELL Inspiron with its 4GB of RAM, 500 GB Hard Drive, and a processor speed of 3.0GHz. The computer would be used for the internet and creating documents such as word, excel, and power point. They wouldn’t need a massive hard drive on their computer due to the fact that they would store a lot of their course info on it. It would be too easy for a student to break a password and steal an answer sheet for a test. A Graphic Designer would be using the iMac. With its 8GB of Ram, 1 TB Hard drive, and a processor speed of 3.4GHz. They would need to have a computer that has a large hard drive to store all the designs. With the use of Dreamweaver and Photoshop they will need all the storage that they can get. IMac’s are also known for making extreme designs with outstanding colors. That is why the iMac’s are the working horses of the design field. A medical professional [doctor or nurse] would make great use of the Sony VAIO. The VIAO has 8GB of RAM, 1TB Hard......

An author wouldn’t need very much in the way of power or storage. A cheap all-in-one computer or basic laptop would be fine for their needs. When it comes to video game developers, they need computers with lots of space and lots of power along with a high end video card. They will most likely have ordered a custom built computer with terabytes of space and the newest high end processor. CAD operators also need lots of space and power for the work they do. A computer with a terabyte of space and a high end processor along with six to eight gigabytes of RAM should be fine. References Newegg.com. Retrieved......

...Computer Shopper The computers and note book I found were really exactly for the professions I was looking for. The four professions I chose were engineer, teacher, graphic designer and also a lawyer and separated on which one will get the desk top and which one will get the laptops based on their job and the requirement needs. I went to Best buy and asked them to help me find two desktops and also two laptops based on the professions they are needed for. First desk top I got was the Lenovo k45e desk top it has 8GB of ram as well as 2GB of ram for graphics and the 2 GB ram is separate from the 8 which makes it total of 10 GB of ram; it has an Intel I5 processor with the speed of 3.2GHZ and hard disk capacity of 1TB. The second desktop I got was the ACEs M11BB07 desktop which has 8GB of ram and 1TB of hard disk capacity and also an AMD A10 processor with the speed of 3.7GHZ. The laptops I got were The Aces g75 which had 8 GB of ram and 1TB o hard drive capacity and also I7 quad core processor. The last notebook I got was actually a tablet from windows called the surface tablet pro 3 which has 4 GB of ram and also flash memory and you could use an usb port to expand your memory and also processor speed of 1.9GHZ and turbo boost. For the engineer I chose the Lenovo desk top, because it has an 8 GB of ram and also the 2 separate gigabyte of ram for the graphic part, which lets him separate his graphic work from his other work and in that case the computer won’t slow down......

...Computer Shopper Just about all professions, these days, require the use of computers. They help record, organize and store anything we need them to. The use of computers has grown rapidly and it is hard to get a job without having at least a basic knowledge of how they work. There are some professions, though, that use computers a lot more than others. Some of these professions would be grueling without the help of computers. I have chosen three professions and four computers. For the computers, I have chosen the Dell Inspiron Desk Top, the Hp Pavilion Slimline desk top, the Toshiba Satellite Laptop and the Hp Envy laptop. I have chosen author, educator and lawyer as my profession. I will pair the appropriate computer with its profession. An author may seem like they would not need much in the way of computers. Often times they do not even use computers to write, but instead prefer pen and paper. However, the work will have to put into a computer sooner or later. An author probably would not be in need for very much space. Their work will most likely be stored on portable storage devices so that they can transport it agencies. Because of this, I think that a suitable computer for an author would be the Toshiba Satellite laptop. It has memory and hard drive space, just not a lot. It is cheap and would serve its purpose for the author perfectly without having the extra features. Teachers and instructors have a little more of need for space. Again, however, they don’t need...

If it is just for paperwork, emails and Internet they shouldn’t need much. In most doctors offices they should and most likely do have servers. The server would handle all the heavy work and that means the towers would just need the minimum. Now if it were a dentist with an ICat X-Ray machine they would most likely need a higher end PC with a good graphics card. A Scientist is like a doctor but with much more information. There computers and servers would need to be higher end and most likely they would need bigger monitors. They would also have many more programs doing multiple calculations. The PC would have to be very fast and so would the server. An Educator doesn’t need much since the school has servers also. Most teachers just pull information from the Internet and the school servers. Depending on the school the PC’s are most likely outdated anyway. Also most schools get there computers in bulk for all teachers....

For the Cable Technician the computer I chose for that profession would be the Panasonic Toughbook 53. This computer is tough enough to be put in the field. With having to take it into customer’s homes if it were to be dropped it could withstand the impact. With the size of hard drive, RAM, and speed it could run programs to access customer info and company records. For the Accountant I chose the Acer Aspire TC Series. With RAM, and speed of this computer an accountant could run programs to calculate figures for his or her clients. The hard drive is sufficient to be able to store a lot of spreadsheets and graphs. For the Graphic Designer I chose the Asus G20AJ-B09. With the amount of information, size of programs, and the data used for this profession this computer has......

A graphic designer needs a fast processor, fast Ram and lots of it. If you choose a large hard drive you can work with big files. A large high quality monitor is beneficial. You have the ability to display the tabs all on one screen without eating into the design. It would have to be a desktop. They don’t make Laptop with large screens 21 inches and bigger. An educator doesn’t really need any special advanced hardware. I believe any normal computer works for an educator. I guess it is a user preference how fast the individual wants the computer to be, how much storage space he or she would need, and how much money is being spent. Again it depends what the educator prefers mobile portable Laptop or a stationary desktop. The movie maker computer needs a fast processor lots of RAM to run all the different programs simultaneously a movie maker needs. The movie maker would need a lot of storage to be able to store all the movie files that take up a lot of space....
