My friend and I went to see a musical called Urinetown, a three TONY Awards musical at the Sugar land Auditorium on Saturday November 1st presented by the Performing Arts Studio. Urinetown is a humorous musical satire written by Greg Kotis. The satire is about the government (UGC) charging a fee for the public use of toilet and outlawing the use private of toilets. The play consisted of several leading role, but the only castings worth mentioning are the main character Bobby Strong and Hope Cladwell.Tyler Collins portrayed and sang the role of Bobby Strong and was a perfect cast for Bobby. Collins appearance and voice were ideal for the "hero" of the show; a handsome young man who lead the poorest urinal town through rebellion and fights for what he believes. As one of the Tenor vocalist, his finest singing was his duo with hope when they sung together "Follow Your Heart". As he sings with a sad voice, from high decrescendos to low crescendos his voice depicted all the emotion of the character. The cold and emptiness when he does not how to follow his heart to the joy and happiness when he found and listen his heart. Hope Caldwell acted and sang by Dakotah Boone was another impressive cast she played the role of naïve daughter of Caldwell. Dakota performance was impeccable one of her most notable moment on stage was her solo during which she sung the reprise of "Follow your Heart".
