Some people believe that the education system exists mainly to select and prepare younger people for their future work roles. Item A agrees with this idea as it says that education teaches people to perform “a vital role in modern societies”, while family life gives people the ability to play a role as a “functioning member of a large-scale society”. In other words, it says that education is key for “modern” work, while social life is more key in giving people social skills, to function with other people within society. This agrees with the question because the question says that education is important for “future work roles”.

The statement also agrees with the functionalist view of education in the way that it suggest that education life and family life is highly effective in making everyone almost perfect members in society, as it suggests that the education perfectly prepares people with the ability which is needed in any chosen work role, and that the family prepares people to have the ideal number of social skills. However the Marxist perspective is largely different, especially in its disagreement with the role of education. They disagree with this because it they believe that education not only refuses people from getting any role that they have in the working world, but also that it doesn’t effectively prepare people for a role in work. Although, Item A also agrees with the functionalist view as it says that in modern society only the “education system” can give the individuals the skills they need to “join the workplace”. However this entire statement is quite old fashioned as it views the family life as being a nuclear family life, so is not culturally diverse as it fails to recognise other cultural families and single parent families...

Women Affair.Pdf

...It is now a thing to gladden the hearts of all women of Nigeria that, "after four attempts by four former heads of Nigeria's Government," Chief Obasanjo's administration finally granted government recognition to women's issues in this country. The official document .on Human Rights' issues as it relates to Nigerian women; this document is known as the NATIONAL POLICY ON WOMEN. This paper therefore focuses on the document which promises to bring delight to the heart of every woman in this country. Introduction When late Mrs. Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti joined the vanguard team as the only nationalist and activist during the early struggle for Nigerian independence, hardly did .anybody realize then that she had a dream, a clear vision of a future Nigerian woman, that vision was crystal clear in her heart, and like a pivot, it stood firmly on three stand posts-known today as women's rights, women emancipation and women empowerment.. . Mrs. Olufunmilayo Ransome-Kuti later joined by some educated women of like minds, fought daringly and relentlessly for these three .pivotal goals of women emergency and relevance in the socio-political reckoning arena of this nation. Unfortunately, their efforts did not seem to pay off, judging by the relative “denials" and rebuffs their efforts often met with the male dominated government of the day. Thus up to about two decades ago, Nigerian woman became relatively marginalized and subjected to more than a fair share of male chauvinism in almost......

Manager

...Accountancy Jump to: navigation, search Accountancy (profession)[1] or accounting (methodology) is the measurement, statement or provision of assurance about financial information primarily used by managers, investors, tax authorities and other decision makers to make resource allocation decisions within companies, organizations, and public agencies. The terms derive from the use of financial accounts. Accounting is the discipline of measuring, communicating and interpreting financial activity. Accounting is also widely referred to as the "language of business".[2] Financial accounting is one branch of accounting and historically has involved processes by which financial information about a business is recorded, classified, summarised, interpreted, and communicated; for public companies, this information is generally publicly-accessible. By contrast management accounting information is used within an organisation and is usually confidential and accessible only to a small group, mostly decision-makers. Tax Accounting is the accounting needed to comply with jurisdictional tax regulations. Practitioners of accountancy are known as accountants. There are many professional bodies for accountants throughout the world. Many allow their members to use titles indicating their membership or qualification level. Examples are Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA or FCCA), Chartered Accountant (FCA, CA or ACA), Management Accountant (ACMA, FCMA or AICWA), Certified Public......
