Two of the most important parts need to be considered before the system is built – the CPU and the motherboard. There are several different types of CPUs and motherboards, so care should be taken that the CPU can be seated on the motherboard. Also, think about what the computer will be used for. General users will not need a top of the line system for browsing the web, email, social networking and word processing types applications, so a “bare-bones” type of computer may be a better selection. Systems used for gaming, video editing or high end graphics will need to have other considerations such as a higher end graphics card, more RAM and better than average cooling.
