Forgiveness is Easier Said than Done Robert Brault said," Life becomes easier when you learn to accept the apology you never got." Therefore, knowing how to forgive others for their mistakes makes life more admirable and meaningful. However, forgiveness is easier said than done because of the enormous ego in each person and the arduousness of letting go what happened in the past. Only if people learn how to forgive will they have peace of mind. Anyone who pardons the mistakes of others will get spiritual, physical and relational benefits .

To begin with, forgiveness is a part of human life because of its spiritual benefits. Not forgiving someone makes people always look back at the past and remember the mistakes; they are therefore never relaxed and peaceful. "A life without forgiveness is a prison"(Wiliam Arthur Ward) since they have to live lastingly with their sorrow and regret. Forgiveness is an excuse for not only another’s mistake but also themselves. When people know how to pardon, they will escape from their weight of sorrow and have peace of mind. In addition, excusing the mistakes will help people do not to remember painful things, so they will be relaxed and fulfill. The spirituality of people will be stronger because they believe when they excuse the mistakes they will be freedom. They will have negative thinking about the horrible things that is done in the past. Forgiveness is the precious key that helps people have a joyful and blithesome life.

In the second place, people will be healthier when they forgive the mistakes of others. There are studies that have found that the act of forgiveness can reduce levels of nervousness, depression, and anger. For instance, when people pardon someone for their mistakes, they will forget the faults that make them feel tetchy and painful. They do not keep the fret and anger inside their hearts; therefore, both their stresses and sadnesses will be reduced. All of these things lead to heart diseases and high blood pressure, so excusing someone's mistakes will help people reduce not only depression but also heart attack. In addition, being unable to forgive also provokes nightmares. People who cannot excuse mistakes will have never a restful sleep because they are bothered by everything unfortunate that has happened. If people know how to forget mistakes, they will sleep easier. Last but not least, human relationships will improve as a result of forgiveness . Forgiveness is a essential element that develops relationships, such as friendship, familyship and marriage. For example, if wife and husband in a family do not forgive each other, everyone will be sad and in pain. That is the main reason lead to divorce and unhappiness. Forgiveness is not only pardoning mistakes but also giving each other a chance. Because of this, people will have an opportunity to learn from the past and to fix their problems in the future. Moreover, forgiveness also permits the relationships to move to deeper and more noble levels of trust, sympathy and tolerance. Therefore, excusing mistakes is an essential aspect of human relationships because "forgiveness is the oil of relationships"(Josh Mcwell).

All in all, when people know how to forgive the mistakes; consequently, they will receive many spiritual, physical and relational profits. Excusing another’s mistakes promote peace of mind, improve health and build relationships to deeper levels even though the mistakes are not pardoned effortlessly. Nevertheless, people just excuse the mistakes when they realize the people that they love are more important than their enormous ego. Although forgiveness is a marvelous and powerful present that people have, it is also the hardest challenge for people to carry out.

Mieke Jans, Nadine Lybaert, Koen Vanhoof Abstract Fraud is a million dollar business and it’s increasing every year. The numbers are shocking, all the more because over one third of all frauds are detected by ’chance’ means. The second best detection method is internal control. As a result, it would be advisable to search for improvement of internal control systems. Taking into consideration the promising success stories of companies selling data mining software, along with the positive results of research in this area, we evaluate the use of data mining techniques for the purpose of fraud detection. Are we talking about real success stories, or salesmanship? For answering this, first a theoretical background is given about fraud, internal control, data mining and supervised versus unsupervised learning. Starting from this background, it is interesting to investigate the use of data mining techniques for detection of asset misappropriation, starting from unsupervised data. In this study, procurement fraud stands as an example of asset misappropriation. Data are provided by an international service-sector company. After mapping out the purchasing process, ’hot spots’ are identified, resulting in a series of known frauds and unknown frauds as object of the study. 1 Introduction Fraud is a million dollar business and it is increasing every year. ”45% of companies worldwide have fallen victim...
