I walked down the beach today and realized WOW it’s really nice being retired.
One day I decided to carry on with building a small block engine that could do 485 HP so that everyone on the beach would look at me as I drove by. I thought I was pretty cool by doing all the things I had done.

Little did I know , they were watching me. They knew my move. These creatures that we refer to as aliens were watching my every step. I couldn’t step onto the baseball diamond without worrying about being raped with an anal probe.

Then one night it happened; They got me. I remember it very vaguely because they used some sort of machine that erased my memory, but lucky for me I closed my eyes and had a wet dream. Man that was one really wet dream, I remember my pants were so sticky, I thought someone spilled icream on my pants. Then I realize that Icecream wasn’t a milky white clear substance. What could it have been? Did the aliens take my first time? Did they take my innocence? I couldn’t believe it. Yes I could. I didn’t want to believe it.

The next morning I felt alone. I felt cold and ashamed. I couldn’t look anyone in the eyes. Kids started to make fun of me saying what happened loser? Why are you such a quiet guy now? You have some big ears you dumbo looking kid. That’s when I snapped.

I punched the kids in the private areas and then was suspended and had to change schools.

Beach

...SIESTA KEY BEACH, MY FAVORITE LOCATION Of all the places that I have visited, there has never been on that has made me feel as relaxed and content as I do at Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida. With the sound of the Gulf waters crashing on the soft white sand, the warm sun beating down and the squawking sounds of the seagulls flying overhead, I could sit there for hours. The impact that sitting on Siesta Key beach has on my sense of touch, smell and sound, is one that I have yet to experience on any other beach. I remember the first time I went to Siesta Key Beach with my family. I was about 10 years old. I remember feeling overwhelmed with excitement as I stood on the white sandy beach and looked out into the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The sand is baby powder soft and feels wonderful on your feet. It as if you are getting your own personal pedicure with every step you take along the beach. The sand never gets hot which makes it pleasant to take long walks along the shoreline. The first time I went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico I was amazed at how warm and salty the water was. It was like taking a bath in the world’s largest bathtub. There are several outside showers along the beach for you to rinse off the dried salt left on your body after your swim. The sweet smell of the gulf waters reminds me of when I use to live on a lake. Those were such happy times for me. When I am not basking in the sun or swimming in the salty waters of the...

A Walk Not to Remeber

...1. World Balance * When my boy started with his schooling, one of the things he needs is a white rubber shoes. I enrolled him in Virgen del Pilar School which is being run by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Anne. They want to teach kids simplicity so aside from "no jewelries and colorful accessories" their rubber shoes for their PE subject needs to be plain white, no colorful ones. It's been a practice to us to buy altogether all their school needs so we spent half day in the mall to get done with everything. Inside the department store, there's this wide display of kids' shoes so we let him pick his fave. I think my kid has a great choice. He chose this white World Balance rubber shoes that can be easily wear by kids like him. All he needs to do is wear his socks and slide his feet on to the holes and presto, he is off to go to school. The bottom of the shoes is great. It protects him from slipping and his feet can relax on the soft pad of it. His first school year is done and I don't see much change on the shoes. Great buy indeed. * Some of their Casual Shoes seems to be durable. Very comfy too, and well thought off in terms of comfort. Also a bonus it looks real good. * beautiful.. cyempre!  * When I was in high school, any kid who wore World Balance shoes would be labelled as baduy and be subjected to ridicule so imported brands like Adidas, Reebok and Nike were THE shoes to wear to keep up with the crowd. * Yes, your right its cheap in price and materials...

Descriptive Essay

...Everyone at one time or another has witnessed the beautiful red and orange colors of a sunset. Although colorful sunsets can be seen anywhere, certain places in the world make them seem even more amazing. For me, this place is the beach. A mixture of peace, tranquility, and serenity create an unmatchable feeling of calmness I get when I am watching the sunset and the constant movements of the waves at the beach. It is just me and my thoughts at the beach, allowing me to enjoy the sights and sounds. The sun, a large orange fireball in the distance, looks like it is slowly sinking into the ocean beneath it. The sky splashed with random blends of pinks reds, oranges, yellows and even some hints of purples and blues. The water below reflects the skies colors. The waves tinted with reds and streaks of blues. The sand under me is the same color making me feel like if the sand is on fire. The dark ocean waters and the bright sky create a contrast that makes the horizon look like a meeting of two worlds. Its beautiful and breathtaking, and I'm speechless as I sit in front of this amazing sight. Nothing bothers me as I slowly look around the beach. A feeling of calmness wraps around me like a warm blanket. I am at peace with myself. All I can hear is the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore, and some seagulls, flying overhead squawking. The cool wind blows softly through my hair sending chills down my spine. It is all so calm and pure. The fishy smell is not so comforting;...

City or Beach

...Picture a beautiful city surrounded by tall skyscrapers soaring into the clouds and the beautiful Statue of Liberty standing still on the water. You walk down the street passing hundreds of little shops and restaurants; all the while you are taken aback by the breathtaking beauty of the city that you are gazing upon. Now, picture lying on the beach while listening to the ocean waves. The air is crisp and the smell of saltwater is bitter sweet. The locations being described are New York City and Long Branch Beach. There are many differences between these places, such as the kind of activities, clothing and equipments, and their pace of life. The first major difference between vacationing on the beach or in a city is the kind of activities you are able to do. While vacationing on the beach, the mind-set is to unwind life’s stresses while enjoying the warm touch from the almighty sun. The average beach vacation includes a wide range of activities, from relaxing on hot sand to catching waves in crisp ocean water to land and sea-based sports. Then there are long evenings of cool, breezy walks and hot nights on the dance floor. However, the most common activities while visiting the beach is mostly water related events such as sailing, swimming, and surfing. But let’s not forget the most sought after activity while visiting the beach, that is sun bathing. The simplicity of lying down on the soft, warm sand while the sun caresses you with its warm touch is wonderful. In the city, even...

Morning Beach

...Morning Beach It is early in the morning and the sky is still dim. The immured beach is quiet besides a flock of seagulls pecking at leftover food wrappers. The yellow, phosphorescent sunrise emerges in the distance. The warm, glowing rays greet me with a friendly hello. Miles of shimmering blue water and brown sugar sand encompass me. As I walk along blanket of sand, along the shore, my footprints show my path and are quickly washed away by the waves, turning the shore into a blank canvas. The crashing waves splash my skin feels as refreshing as an ice cold drink on a summer day. The howling wind whistles along the beach like an arriving train as I return to the main area. The rhythmically pounding waves sound peaceful. I walk to a long strip of shops to admire their exquisite commodities. Small, beachfront shops prepare for the day’s customers who will rummage through their merchandise. Key-holders set the seaside products outside their shops. Fashionable clothes and jewelry are propped in the windows, beside brightly colored seashells. I smell fresh coffee and pastries as I pass a Starbucks Coffee shop. As I continue my morning stroll, I only see joggers along the usually busy sidewalks of Clearwater Avenue. I head back to the beach. Some friends play a competitive game of Frisbee near the beach’s pier. The soft blanket of sand cushions one of the adolescents as he reaches high and then dives for the disk. I look to my left and hear the beach is now filled with...

...Human Pollution of Waterways Jane D. Doe Western Governors University Human Pollution of Waterways As one walks along a warm, sandy beach collecting pretty seashells and enjoying the gentle crashing waves washing over their feet, they seldom consider where the water has been or what has been in the water. What one sees is a peaceful and magnificent ocean with mesmerizing waves that are touched by the blue sky for as far as the eye can see. If one were to look more closely at the sandy beach one might see more than just the seashells or occasional strands of sea weed. They might be shocked to discover plastic trash bags, soda bottles, or cigarette butts casually tossed away. If one were to test the water they would likely find the presence of pesticides, oil, or gas. It certainly isn’t the calm, beautiful image imagined when thinking of a beach vacation. Yet there is a growing presence of these pollutants in the Earth’s waterways that can’t be ignored. Many of the causes of these pollutants in Earth’s waterways are man made such as land, water, and air pollution. The most tangible causes of pollution in waterways are from pesticides and fertilizers, household cleaning products and human litter. In order to understand how the pesticide or fertilizer from your neighbor’s lawn, and household cleaning products from someone’s home, or that plastic shopping bag come to be in the waterways, you have to look at how interconnected our Earth is. Think back to a time...

Journey of the Self: Example Through Symobols

...battery, a pocketknife, and my wallet with five dollars and my I.D. inside. I’m walking, surrounded by trees of all types. There is a light breeze, but it’s quiet as I walk and look around. As I’m walking, the road is flat and somewhat narrow, but it is easy going for the most part, with random spots where the road becomes rocky and somewhat stressful, but it evens itself out and becomes smooth for a period of time again. I feel happy and serene, but exhausted at times and in need of a bit of rest, but I always continue and begin to walk again. As I’m walking, I come to a two-way fork in the road with a sign in the middle. The sign has two arrows with words printed on them. Each arrow is pointing in the opposite direction of the other. To the left I have the choice to walk to the city, while to the right I have the choice to walk to a small country town. After some thought and consideration of both of my choices, I eventually choose to head towards the Country. I’m not sure exactly why I decided to head this way, but something inside of me tells me that it is the way that I need to go. A sense of fate you could call it. As I’m walking down the path I chose all of a sudden there is a fallen tree blocking the road. The tree is a large Redwood tree, whose width is roughly four and a half or five feet wide. I could walk around it, but since I am alone in a forest I’m not...

Paradise in Jamaica

...Paradise in Jamaica After going to galveston each year in texas, it was nothing compared to the beach the Williams family went to on their vacation to Jamaica. The beautiful atmosphere they witnessed was the most unforgettable moment ever. They stayed at the hotel right in front of the beach, directly right in the middle of restaurants, clubs, and water parks. Everything around was beautiful, including the soft sand that went through peoples toes walking on the side of the beach, also how big and clear the ocean was. The ocean was so memorable it was really a paradise just exactly how everyone had described it. Being on the beach watching of the waves as it hits the wind, the smell of the food coming from every direction, watching everyone do something different, listening to the kids on the water parks. It was all there, it was all true from the moment spent near the beach, to the relaxing music of the culture, and the look of the various Jamaican food. The ocean was as clear as it was going to get watching everything under water was the most amazing experience. Watching the the fish swim together as group moving from one area to another, the seaweed moving along with the waves, going back and forth against the big rocks where people would sit on enjoying the nice hot weather. Being able to taste the salty water when the strong waves would hit against their body as people would shut their eyes avoiding the water to get in their eyes. As the sound of the Jamaican...

Happy Place

...Semoria Doss Professor Dianne Bunch English 111 5th November 2015 My Happy Place: The Beach Every time I am at the beach, I am amazed even more than I was the first time. The beauty will never fade away. For over an hour each day, after school, I was really content. Cassie, my Schnauzer mix puppy and I would go to the beach, my happy place. We would just sit and stare at the sun while it set and enjoy our dinner. It was the most perfect and beautiful place ever. It was peaceful, tranquil, and calm. The sky was a nice combination of orange, purple, and blue shades. It drowned in the big, wide horizon with its golden rays glistening in the darkness like glitter. The clouds were fading from a shade of white to pale grey to black. The moon was illuminating, while peeking through the trees as the sun was descending. The clouds held the promise of a peaceful night. In the far left of the sky, there sat the big golden sun, slowly departing the sky to go behind the trees until it wasn’t able to be seen anymore. At that moment, it did not matter how upset or sad, or even depressed I was I was able to be at peace. Usually, I go to the beach barefoot and feel the sand come up between my toes and tickle my feet. I would bend down and touch the rough, rocky pavement as I walked Cassie. We would feel the wind gently wrap around our bodies and console us, taking us away from our troubles into our own personal paradise. We would be feeling extremely warm and cozy, scared to depart from...
