Have you ever found something you desperately wanted? You were tired of just looking at it, you wanted to have it. You thought it was the most amazing thing you found & you know you would never find something like it ever again. You kept thinking you would get it someday; was within reach. You kept dreaming of it; thought it would help you if you got it. You dreamed of taking it with you to places. It would make you forget about your problems & your worst days. All of a sudden, it's gone... Because of YOU. You made it disappear because of what you did, say, or both. You got too close to it. You kept denying that you wanted it, but hoped that you would get it. You were too scared to try & get it because you didn't want to face the cold truth of you not getting it. You were scared to ask for it. You avoided telling the truth when it was about to be gone. You thought your problems & emotions would break it, & so it did. You just rambled about other stuff to pass by the real answer. You can't find any kind of replacement to fill that void you always wake up to. Replace this "it" with someone you admire the most; that "special someone." Every day, you hope it will come back, but you die little by little each day. If it ever come back, you hope to start talking. One day, I hope you & I can talk again. One day, I hope we can hang out. One day... just one day, I hope to talk to you. However, asking for one day is asking a lot. I just hope God will hold on to you for me until we can talk. I hope you take care of yourself. I hope you are well. I hope... Will I ever get you back or should I just walk, lower my head, & give up? But, what happens if I see you around? It will break my broken heart more. I'll still feel terrible to speak to you; too much emotion. I still like you very much. I wouldn't know what to do. I'm just walking in circles right now; kind of lost. I wish you would be able to understand this. For now, it's whatever... Only time will tell. I guess I need to come to grips of the real life & try to understand all of this.

People Wanting To Dismantle Planned Parenthood Analysis

...and I think your topic is an interesting thesis to write about. Being someone that also has a birth defect June syndrome. I can relate to the experiences of near-death and the feelings attached to that. However I feel like it's more of a humblebrag then a genuine appreciation for life. I don't think there's enough examples of you seeming grateful about waking up every morning. I feel like you told more than showed. There's also points in the paper where you make a comment about not wanting fame and fortune as a virtuous trait. Personally I would love for people to not have to deal with expensive medical costs that come with being born premature or being born with a rare genetic disorder. Fame and notoriety wood give the opportunity to save people's lives. I have a lot of questions about your habits with dangerous activities. I think showing examples of you not smoking? Or not doing an extreme sport as a way to show cautiousness or an appreciation of the fragility of life. What about people wanting to dismantle Planned Parenthood? The paper never really takes a stance on anything other than yourself and I feel like it could be turned outward. A question that I wish the paper answered was what is your response to people dying in very moronic ways? Is the response that those people took their...

When Wanting Is Better Than Having: Analysis

...WHEN WANTING IS BETTER THAN HAVING 1 When Wanting is Better Than Having Research Implication Paper Ned G. Kendall III Walsh University Marketing Management Dr. Julie Szendrey MBA 624 09/07/2013 WHEN WANTING IS BETTER THAN HAVING The article that I have chosen for the research implication paper is “When Wanting is 2 Better than Having: Materialism, Transformation Expectations, and Product-Evoked Emotions in the Purchase Process.” (Richins, 2013) The focus of the article is the accuracy and claim that purchasing brings an individual happiness. I found this article to be of interest not only because it focuses on the ‘People’ aspect of the Modern Marketing Management Four Ps (Kotler & Keller, 2012), but it an interesting insight of consumer behavior from a psychological point of view. This article examines the emotions evoked before, during and after purchasing a product and introduces the concept of hedonic elevation. Hedonic elevation is simply the concept of relating to something with either a pleasant, or an unpleasant, sensation. Lastly, this article focuses on product-evoked emotions between high and low-materialism consumers through the performance of three separate studies, using five different hypotheses. The main emotions that are studied throughout article are joy, excitement, contentment, optimism and peacefulness. Materialism has three main components: a measure of personal success based on what one has acquired in life, that concept that acquisitions...

Rapidly Rising Wages and Incomes- Threat or Opportunity to Western Businesses Wanting to Succeed in China?

...Do rapidly rising wages and incomes in China represent an opportunity or threat for western businesses wanting to succeed in china? With a growth rate of 7.7% China is a rapidly growing country that has not only the second largest economy in the world, after the united states of America, but a vastly developing country that has a major influence on the rest of the world, especially more developed countries such as the US and the UK. It has a population of 1.4 billion people, soon to be 1 billion in urbanised areas that provide an abundance of consumers for new markets and therefore making it a major player in multinational cooperation’s targets for growth and profit. In the past Chinas geography and low cost factor have meant that many Western businesses have not only expanded into China and its markets but set up manufacturing bases in many of the coastal provinces and near big cities such as Shanghai. In 2009, 153 of the largest 200 exporters in China were firms with a foreign stake. The advantages of low cost manufacturing that is vital to many western businesses to succeed however may be coming to an end. Wage levels in China have increased continually over the last two decades as the economy developed and also from a variety of factors including to an aging population, social pressure and consequently the pressure on multinational corporations who operate within china. These wage increases and therefore rising incomes both offer the opportunity and threat for western businesses...

Everyone had to leave, but Dara didn't want to because of the things she loved.Jantu said to Dara “Come on, it's just a toy, we have to go” Then Dara responded to Jantu and said “I'm not going”(57). This shows that she is now changing and is wanting to stay because she has realized she likes it there. This relates to my claim of her changing because she has now changed from wanting to go home, to not really wanting to go home. At the end she goes to the border and wants to stay there to find her family. Dara lost her family and she went back to the border because she knew it was safe there now, and she wanted to go back to some of the things she left behind.”They’re bound to go back to our old campsite to wait for us” (68). My Writing

...(Identifying Statement) In NZ at the moment there is a bit of a debate going on between a Flag change in NZ, many pupils in NZ are wanting this Flag change to happen so that the Flag isn’t going to be the same as the Australians, but as per usual many pupils are wanting to keep the Flag just the way it is even if it is going to be the same as the Australians. 1. Many pupils of NZ are wanting a Flag change with the New Zealand Flag, however there are many residents of the NZ community who aren’t at all wanting this Flag change to happen. We could stop all of this chaos by sending out a survey to all New Zealand residents, this survey may contain many questions that all NZ people have in mind, (here are two questions that this survey may contain), ‘Do you want the NZ Flag to change?’ to ‘What would the new Flag look like? 2. If the New Zealand government decided to change the Flag of NZ, then would NZ happen to change to or will the residents of the community in the Country of NZ just stay the same but with a different flag. There would have to be many different options to consider as all pupils in NZ have different options, everyone of those pupils are wanting there option not anybody elses. So therefore if the Flag had the four best ideas from the community then there won’t be an argument so big and the community is getting what they want to and aren’t going to make a big fuss over nothing from just a Flag change. A Flag change isn’t a big deal it is just a change of a...

Healthcare Marketing

...The way health care in our country is, and how health considers what is marketing, it's a discussion worth having for the sake of everyone, because marketing is an organizational function to deliver an ever better life for those who develop and, more important and consequently for society. Having considered by many years, the marketing was only for-profit entities, made those who run it was just what I should not have done. Initially, Holden’s psychological need to escape from his society, by wanting to leave every place he settles down in, implies that he is scared of rejection.
