Is there a scenario for bringing the two together? Explain. •   • According to the Korgaonkar, O’Leary, and Silverblatt (2009) article, eight design factors have been found to help attract and retain site visitors. What two of the factors do you believe could be added to the site you are building for this class? Explain. How would they be incorporated into your class site, either now or in the future? Do you think they would be effective in attracting new or repeat visitors to your site? Explain why or why not. The two begin to come together whenever you start your production phase by implementing your ideas into HTML, Java, Flash, etc. You start putting the pieces of the puzzle together the further along you are with your code and...

Create a folder in the hard drive (not in Dreamweaver) and name it whatever you want. This is your root folder. 2. Inside this folder create 4 sub-folders and name them: Images, Flash, Pages, and Other. 3. Go into Dreamweaver and click on HTML. Save this page into your root folder as Home Page. 4. You have to add in tables. Go to insert, new table. You can set it to as many cubes as you want. It's a little tricky to get it where you want but a little playing with it works. 5. Web/240 Week 5 Virtual Organization Evaluation

...Abstract The intended purpose of week five’s assignment is for me to evaluate our chosen virtual organization. The virtual organization that was appointed to learning team A was Kudler’s Fine Foods. Within, this paper I will evaluate the selected virtual organization website, and discuss the intended audience for this site as well. I will then go over the design criteria that I created in week two and provide a description of why I selected and considered the ratings for each category to be of importance. Next, I will explain the results of the comparative review I performed on the three similar sites, and provide an appendix of the completed evaluation. A detailed analysis of the assigned virtual organization website will also be explored inside this paper along with a description of the changes I made in my prototype/mockup accompanied by a screenshot image. Lastly, an explanation of how I would use metadata or other promotional tools to promote the redesigned website, followed by a closing explanation of how the website changes will help the virtual organization to become more successful in the future. In today’s society an online presence is the most effective way to reach the masses. Therefore, the way a website is designed is crucial to the success of the company. Websites want to provide a great first impression when prospects want to get to know more about the business, its mission, or the company’s vision. A website must capture ones attention, and be visually appealing...

'Ioday you can, thanks to technologies for videoconferencing and for hosting online meetings over the Web. A June 2008 report issued by the Global e-Sustainability Initiative and the Climate Group estimated that up to 20 percent of business travel could be replaced by virtual meeting technology. A video conference allows individuals at two or more locations to communicate simultaneously through two-way video and audio transmissions. The critical feature of videoconferencing is the digital compression of audio and video streams by a device called a codec. Those streams are then divided into packets and transmitted over a network or the Internet. Until recently, the technology was plagued by poor audio and video performance, and its cost was prohibitively high for all but the largest and most powerful corporations. Most companies deemed videoconferencing a poor substitute for face-to-face meetings. However, vast improvements in videoconferenc ing and associated technologies have renewed inter est in this way of working. Videoconferencing is now growing at an annual rate of 30 percent. Proponents of the technology claim that it does more than sim ply reduce costs. It allows for "better" meetings as well: it's easier to meet with partners, suppliers, sub...
