Individual Dreamweaver Lessons
In the first lesson we are getting an introduction to Dreamweaver. We start the lesson by creating a new Dreamweaver site. While creating the site we are getting a basic understanding of some of the items available in the Dreamweaver software. The elements that we get a basic understanding of our Items like live mode, Design, Split, And the Code tabs. In this lesson we learn that we can’t make changes to our page in live mode and that we have to use design mode in order to make changes to our page. Another thing that we learned is that we can view our page in an external web browser that we have installed locally to get a preview of how are webpage will look.
I lesson two we start out with learning more about creating a new site. We also discuss the differences between designed a new Dreamweaver site from scratch and just working with an existing Dreamweaver site. In this lesson we also create a file that is placed in our folder where our new Dreamweaver site is that is an HTML file named Index.html. We also learn about the importance of naming any of the projects that you are working with because it allows for easy transitions between the sites that you are working on if you have more than one. An example would be if you were a successful web designer. We also learned about servers and how they work with websites.
In lesson 3 we start out learning about formatting text within Dreamweaver. WE are also learning about the importance of headings and what type of heading to use for different section throughout your page. Heading 1 would be the most important heading because it would be the focal point of the web page. It would also be what would show up when your site was searched for through a web browsers search engine. The main lesson learned from this lesson was working
