What I Feel About Wednesday.

As we know, Wednesday is the third day in a week, which is the middle of the week. But Wednesday may means different for different people. There is a Hindustan movie named A Wednesday in year 2008. There is also a fabulous weekly link party where bloggers share their latest projects and recipes called Work It Wednesday. Besides that, a full-service, integrated creative agency which create strategically-led advertising campaigns, online destinations, editorial content and innovative digital experiences for consumers known as Wednesday also exists in the United States. Despite all that, I have my own feeling and definition about my Wednesday.

Wednesday for me is a busy day. Since my school days, Wednesday have always been the tight schedule day for me. My day at school became longer because the co-curriculum day was held every Wednesday evening. I also had to wear the society’s uniform which was kind of uncomfortable to wear it from morning to evening. There were lots of things that I had to do on that day too. I had to attend the class in the morning which usually there were a lots of subject in a short period in the schedule. So, my brain had to catch up a lot of lessons since there were many subjects that being taught on that day. I also had to think of activity that going to be done in the society meeting in the evening since I was the vice president of the society.

Same goes in my university days now, Wednesday is such a tough day. My class starts at eight in the morning and I have four classes continuously without gap. I really have to be prepared emotionally and physically so that I will pay full attention in the class without any distraction. It’s really hard but I have to adapt with it and assume it as my sacrifice to achieve success. When I feel like I want to give up, I will think about my parents and their hope of me so that it will be a motivation for me to keep going. I also will feel more enthusiastic to learn and keep thinking positive.

However, it’s not all bad on my Wednesday. At my place, movie ticket on Wednesday is cheaper than other days. It’s not on Monday, Thursday or Sunday but Wednesday! So, of course I will love Wednesday as I really love to watch movie in cinema. It’s a happy day as I can save my cash and do the things that I love at the same time. And I can only do that on Wednesday. There are also a lot of interesting Korean dramas that aired on Wednesday that make Wednesday is not really a bad or stressful day for me.

In a nutshell, there are always pros and cons in or on something. I believe that we should be thankful with the goodness of something, try to overcome the weakness of something and look at the bright side. That way, we will feel more happy to live our life and stop ranting or sighing.

...I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at One Bistro. I have been going every Wednesday since the first week; I believe that makes a total of three times. I have only been able to go and volunteer on Wednesdays due to my work schedule. I get to One Bistro before they open, usually around ten o’clock. I haven’t had much interaction with the customers but I have had a chance to talk to some of the workers who volunteer for there meals. I have set tables, cleaned dishes, and cut and bagged bread. Normally when I first get there I help set tables. The dishes are normally done, except for on my first visit. After I’m finished with the tables I get the tedious task of cutting and bagging bread. This bread is not a nice soft, cuts like butter bread. It is very hard and crusty, like a brick. The first time I was asked cut the bread, I came away with a huge blister on my finger. As far as Service-Learning goes I enjoy it. It is a great way to get involved and get to know new people. The only problem that I can think of is that I don’t have much contact with the customers that come in. With my schedule I am only able to go Wednesday mornings before they open. I hope to get a weekend off from work and be able to go and experience the atmosphere when there are real customers in the restaurant and not just workers. The work and reading in class relates to One Bistro by being able to take what I am doing and expressing it so that a person who has never been there can still experience and...

...Short title 1 Running Head: Short Title? Title ? Keller Graduate School of Management Short title 2 1.0 Executive Summary Saint Patrick’s Nursery is debating on whether or not to incorporate Wednesday into their regular schedule. The nursery can compete with hourly daycare offer by Play Date and the Child Development Centers of the Army base Fort Bragg. The lower price that they offer will help the nursery compete against others, adding value and a good reputation to the service provided. The focus is to meet the demands of the stay at home parents requesting the need of one more day. The financial objectives are to obtain at least ten kids from ten different households, pay at least three employees and at still break-even for that particular day. 2.0 Situation Analysis Saint Patrick’s Nursery was open about 20 years ago with the purpose of taking care of kids while the parents attended mass. Throughout the years the nursery requests from parents has help developed the concept of Parent’s Morning Out (PMO) open on Tuesdays and Fridays morning only. It has come to the attention of the current Nursery Director the need of one extra day. However, in order to open the nursery on Wednesdays, the nursery must have at least ten children from ten different households. This is due because children from the same household receive a discount for the service. Hourly daycare is increasing in popularity and demand. Stay at home parents find it more easily to find...

...Advertising Shows It has come to my attention that The Ring Theater performances are not really advertised to the public and the entire student body to the best of our ability. It is so bad that only the students in the school of theater are the only ones who really know about our shows and maybe their families. We need to start having more full houses and try reaching out to everyone. Therefore, I am introducing a new policy that mandates that employees come up with a new way of advertising the show to the public every Wednesday, as it is our slowest day. Some ideas we could start with are making flyers for every school on campus as well as calendars, shirts that we would wear around campus or even pens that we could give out with the public with the information about the shows. If you do not work on Wednesdays, I suggest you still come up with ideas and submit them to Gema, the staff manager, on Tuesday before you leave and she will implement them on Wednesdays. I believe that if everyone that works in the shop presents a new idea and it is enforced as a team weekly, we definitely would have more sold out shows and this will also give our actors more opportunity to show case their talent to a larger crowd and potentially to recruiters. We work too hard not to be recognized! Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to hearing everyone’s creative ideas. Best, Lorrian...

I was unable to attend your class yesterday (Wednesday, September 10th). I understand from a classmate that a handout was given related to the next lab assignment. The syllabus indicates that your office hours are between 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Would you be available in your office this Thursday so I can receive the lab assignment and ask for clarification on the material that we had to turn in? I would appreciate if you extend the deadline for the assignment, just for this occasion. I’m aware that your time is valuable so I don’t want to extend myself more. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Thank you very much and kind regards, Reflecting on both examples, we can see the obvious difference with the two messages. ...supervisor gave me some charts to process. By process I mean I had to put the charts in the system and fill out the insurance information for billing then schedule them to get them to come in and pick up their medical equipment. So when he asks me to do them I figured that what he meant. He wasn’t clear and I assumed we were both wrong in the situation. So I completely did full processing and I created double work for both of us. Simple clarification on my part would resolve all these issues. Another miscommunication that at I had recently at work I where my schedule is basically a set schedule, is has been for a very long time. So it was really no need for me to for me to check the schedule. So one day in particular a Wednesday I was on the schedule and I never work on Wednesdays. So it was if I was a no showing no call but that’s never me or my motive. As I come to work the next day I was ask what happen and I explained myself, the manager was very understanding. Reason being is because she failed to communicate to the person who was now doing the schedules the way she use to do them. Also that I was not the only one who had this issue and a lot of my coworker’s schedules were messed up. So the best way to solve the issue what I do every week now is take it down and make a copy of...

Wow Wednesday

...‘’WOW MOMENT’’! By Dii0909 What is a ‘’wow moment’’? Wow moment for each person is different and is depend from their dreams, feelings and expectations. For some ‘’wow moment’’ is child birth or good holidays, for others is one day in bed. We all are individual personalities and we all are so different, isn’t it? That is a reason why ‘’wow moment’’ for each person will be different. My ‘’wow moment’’ is my honey week in Egypt. Beautiful Egypt First of all, why Egypt is my wow moment it is because I never been in there before. Egypt is very beautiful country and same time very dangerous. I did spend my honey week with my husband in Hurghada, which is a beach resort town stretching some 40 km along Egypt’s Red Sea cost. It’s removed for scuba diving and has lots of diving shops. There are many different restaurants, night clubs and coffee shops. There are water is so blue like sky and sun is so big like beach ball. There are dolphins and very kind, smiling people who can speak around five different languages, including Russian, which is my language. There, every night, are fantastic shows for different taste and age. Real Egypt Secondly, Egypt is my wow moment because a contrast what you can see when you going somewhere out in town. There you can see other side of this country –rubbish on streets, poverty, soldiers and police around. Some houses look like a big scrap yards where everything placed somewhere around. There are lot of unfinished houses and......

Psychiatric Illness

...court have been very in detail in holding that a duty of care exists in cases where the type of damage suffered by the plaintiff is one of nervous shock though the preferred expression now is “psychiatric injury or illness” . While the decision in McLoughlin v. O'Brien appeared to usher in a new age of judicial acceptance of psychiatric illness, the modern English approach begins with the decision of Alcock v. Chief Constable of South Yorkshire. This case re-established a very strict and cautious attitude toward claims for the negligent infliction of psychiatric illness. The case was concerned with the Hillsborough Disaster. In the spring of 1989, a football match was to be played at the Hillsborough Stadium, the ground of Sheffield Wednesday...

Sport

...Development of Football in England The idea of football came from the medieval game that was known as mob football which included two villages that would play with a pigs head. The game had no rules which meant that violence was a large part of the game and they would play until people were dying or until people were running away. Balls were not invented so the people would use a pigs head and kick that around. King Edward II was the person to ban the game as it created too much violence within the people of the country. 1581 is the earliest account of football as an organised sport. It was played between elite schools such as Eton and colleges such as Cambridge and Oxford. Sides, positions, referees were introduced. The game was played on just and average field like what farm animals would be on and they would use the gates as a goal. 1848 – Cambridge Rules This club shall be called the University Foot Ball Club. At the commencement of the play, the ball shall be kicked off from the middle of the ground: after every goal there shall be a kick-off in the same way. After a goal, the losing side shall kick off; the sides changing goals, unless a previous arrangement be made to the contrary. The ball is out when it has passed the line of the flag-posts on either side of the ground, in which case it shall be thrown in straight. The ball is behind when it has passed the goal on either side of it. When the ball is behind it shall be brought forward at the place where it......

Technical Analysis Black Wednesday

Greek Government Workers Took to the Streets Wednesday Protesting Wage Cuts and Other Measures Intended to Fix the Country's Burgeoning Debt Crisis.

...Stan Grant, CNN Int'l. Anchor, "Prism":Greek government workers took to the streets Wednesday protesting wage cuts and other measures intended to fix the country's burgeoning debt crisis. Journalist Nicole Itano joins me now on the phone from Athens with the latest. Nicole, let's look at what the grievances are here. Obviously, there's going to have to be some very tough measures in Greece to deal with this debt crisis, but concern that people are going to be adversely affected by this. Nicole Itano, Journalist:I think that is the main complaint of the people who are out on the streets today. They feel that the austerity measures are going to fall disproportionately on poorer people, on working people who already pay a very high percentage of Greek... Greece's tax burden. So what they are saying is that it shouldn't be them, it shouldn't be the workers, it shouldn't be the poorer people who pay. Instead, the rallying cry that I heard again and again was it's the bankers; it's the rich who got us into this problem in the first place, and it's them who should...
