Curriculum Vitae …………………………………………….. PROJECT SUMMARY PROJECT SUMMARY Fitness There are thousands of people in Baguio City specifically men, who actually hit the gym to exercise and maintain their physical fitness. With the number of people consciously aware that they need to flex and stretch their muscles regularly, investing and starting a fitness business was considered by the proponents a good idea. It is considered by the proponents a very profitable business to be in, because people often value their health and physical fitness more than they value luxury items now. Final Fitness World

...Module 5- Final Essay Assignment Understanding Fitness and Wellness Professor Katherine Cabai 26 May 2013 Every day the fitness world is becoming larger and larger. Everyone is trying to work towards having that “perfect body”. With that in mind, there are some important aspects an individual must understand about fitness and wellness in order to achieve their goals. Usually the best place to start is with themselves, by having figuring out their current fitness status. They need to also evaluate the exercises and activities they have been doing and improve their programs that will help make improvements towards their goal. Fitness and wellness isn’t all about working out, the individual needs to work on a diet plan and ways to control metabolic functions. Exercise and eating healthy are inseparable and come hand & hand with one another. Many people in the United States have struggled to eat healthy and also stay with a work out routine, which has resulted in an increase in obesity in America. Good health is just as important as fitness is, so it is important to create a good balance in order to achieve a high quality of life. To get a full understanding on where you stand on your health and fitness levels, you should regularly assess yourself. There are some specific attributes that an individual should check often to properly judge where they stand on their health and fitness levels. Doing an assessment on your fitness level is a great way to find out how......

...Bounce Fitness Corporate Marketing Plan Executive Summary Bounce Fitness will serve the corporations in the city centres of Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, helping them to become more productive, while lowering their overall costs with innovative wellness programs and strategies. Bounce Fitness is based on two simple facts: 1. Healthy employees are more productive than chronically ill employees. 2. It costs less to prevent injuries or illnesses than to treat them after they occur. Traditional endeavours to corporate health care are quite reactive. Corporations wait until after staff has been ill or injured, and then pay for the necessary treatments. The Bounce Fitness approach, emphasises prevention and good health promotion, and is much more proactive. At Bounce Fitness, we tie worker productivity directly to the health care issue. We believe that traditional approaches to the current health care crisis are misdirected. Bounce Fitness contends that by helping employees change their behaviour patterns and choose healthier lifestyles, the health care costs to corporations will be considerably reduced through increased staff productivity, reduced absenteeism and turnover, reduced worker’s compensation claims and a healthier, motivated staff. Current economic and demographic changes will make health care issues worse. The environmental factors and the local competitive situation is a clear message to Bounce Fitness. ...THE NATURAL MYSTIC The Natural Mystic’s Marketing Plan Phelicia Alert Keller Graduate School of Business Marketing Management – MM522 Professor Glen Forbes 1.0 Executive Summary Several major trends are driving the growth of wellness as an industry. These trends not only directly impact the spa industry and its customers, but also are opening new opportunities for spas to play a leading role in a paradigm shift toward more proactive ways of taking care of ourselves (Pilzer). According to economist Paul Zane Pilzer, the wellness industry is new and is currently a $500 billion worth industry. Pilzer also predicted that 10 million millionaires will emerge from the wellness industry in the next 3 to 5 years (Pilzer 2001). The Natural Mystic’s marketing plan seeks to generate revenue from a target market of primarily customers over fifty years old called the Baby Boomers. Through its wellness center, The Natural Mystic will provide unique solution – orient programs geared towards a market segment of serenity and holistic wellness seekers. Boomers represent the most progressive group in terms of making the connection between good health and appearance. As a result, Boomers represent the prime target for “beauty from within” messages. 75 % of Baby Boomers believe the best years are ahead of them. In this vein, they are looking for solutions that cater to concerns like lack of energy, physical health, memory and emotional health (Nolen 2011). It may seem that......

Snap Fitness

...Snap Fitness Exercise Centers 12 May 2012 Part A & B –Variable Costs and Target Net Income Analysis CVP analysis requires that all company costs be identified as variable or fixed. Investopedia defines variable costs as, “costs that vary depending on a company’s production volume; they rise as production increases and fall as production decreases”(pg 1). Fixed costs do not change with an increase or decrease in the amount of production. Snap Fitness’ fixed costs are $4,000 a month for operating expenses and $2,000 for the equipment lease (Total $6,000). The amount of members estimated to break-even is 300 at a monthly price of $26. To find variable costs, the equation is listed below: (a) Break-even point = Variable costs + fixed costs + Net income 300*($26.00) = Variable costs + $6,000 + 0 $7,800 = Variable costs + $6,000 Variable costs = $7,800 - $6,000 = $1,800. (b) What would the monthly sales have to be to achieve a target net income of $10,000. (Fixed costs + target net income) / contribution margin ratio = required sales in dollars. Contribution margin ratio = contribution margin / sales. Contribution margin = Sales – variable expenses. $7800 – 1800 = $6,000 6000 / 7800 = 77% contribution margin ratio. ($6000 + $10,000) / 77% = $16,000/0.77 = $20,779 Based on the fixed costs provided, $20,779 in monthly sales......
