17 years ago from now , exactly at the 19th of may , was the first time i open my eyes and realize this world.

I lived in a big family composed from two girls and four boys , when i was 6 years old, my father passed away ,he was suffering from "Jaundice". it did not make a lot of sense to me at the time ,until I got older and matured enough to understand this properly, that year was my first year of school. my mother was surprised that i loved school from the first day, and how i didn't cry ! the truth i was so excited because I've always sat next to my sister when she did her homeworks, i even was studying with her sometimes ,that's why I loved school environment. I was studying because I had a passion for science and knowledge not only to …show more content…
And since i love reading i make sure to choose books about diseases and anatomy , and when i hear about any new disease or epidemic , it raises mu curiousity and immediately i start searching about it , its symptons , causes , ... etc Although alot of people stood against me when when i chose this specific career , claiming that its not suitable for girls and very difficult , especially my mother who was trying to give me other options , but i was totally convinced about the decision i've made long time ago , simply because i find myself in medicine and it's my dream since i was a kid and i will never give it up .
When I entered the high school in the 10th grade, I participated in an exhibition and I also participated in many experiments in chemistry, biology , and physics I felt i was working like a real scientist, moreover, I volunteered at a health center which made me closer to the patients and saw many diseases and gained experience. i actually was a bit adapted with this , because i went with my aunt to the hospital ( she's a doctor) several time and i saw her dealing with patients gently, and she's the one who was always encouraging me to be like

Why I Chose College

...Although I am unaware of the schools I want to apply to, I know I definitely want to go to a bigger university no closer than three hours. My ideal colleges are closer to the south, where it is a lot warmer ( just so you know a general location ) Have you selected a college major? Why are you interested in this field? What profession do you anticipate pursuing? Although I am aware that knowing my major would help a lot in the letter, but unfortunately I have no clue. I think that if I really can not choose something I will fall back on a business major but for now I am undecided. Another Option I have been exploring is psychology and behavioral sciences. This field intrigues me because there is still so much humans do not know about animals and our own mind’s and deviant behaviors. I genuinely know that this is something I would love to do, and providing articles and research to further the facts we know about living beings. The only thing I worry about is there is limited jobs for this major, and once I leave college I want to be able to start my career right away and not have to wait a few months or even years for a job in that field. What are 5...

Why I Chose High College

...I took my first college class at 13 years old. My parents never graduated from college, and I was able go to college for free and get my Associates. The JC/LISD Academy: A Regional Middle College jumpstarted my college career and made it possible for me to get a college degree before I even graduated from high school. After taking an environmental science class, I decided that I wanted to go on to get a bachelors in Environmental Studies. Even though I am coming in with an Associate's, it is still a goal of mine to finish in two years because not all of my classes transferred. I know from previous college classes the I need to put more work into studying. A middle college allows you to test out of high school classes and start taking college classes early. I tested out of almost every subject, besides math. This let me get a huge head start on college, and I also did not have to pay for the first two years of my college experience. This was very important to me because I come from a low income family. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. It was a lot of work, but I knew that if I wanted to have my dream career, I needed to graduate....

Why I Chose College Essay

...Colleges and universities offer a wide variety of majors to declare, but when it comes down to making that decision, how do we choose and what influences our decision? Is it our interests, our parents, our experiences, or money? I remember when I first started college I had no idea what I wanted to major in, so I just listened to my dad and he basically chose my major for me. He suggested a program where I could be making close to $45,000 a year with just a 2 year degree. I thought why not, I’d be making good money and only have to go to school for 2 years, it sounds great. Until of course I realized I’m not really interested in it, so I switched my major to biology because that’s what I liked. I believe that is how everyone should choose their major,...

Why I Chose College Essay

...College is one of the most important steps of our lives. What we want to study and where we want to do it determine our life long careers and even where we end up living. So it tends to be a very difficult and stressing decision to make. In my mind, I thought of all the ways it would affect me and how I wanted my future to be like. All this time in a way I was sort of selfish in my thoughts. Although, little did I know how this decision and the things I did to accomplish it would affect the people around me most importantly my brother. When I was a kid, I was always infatuated with science and learning how the world around us worked and what other things were there that I had never known existed. My mom would constantly tell me to study hard and do well in school if I wanted to have a good economically sustainable job that I would be happy in and make a difference. As I grew older during high school, I began to think more about this and decided I wanted to do something to help others. My mother would sometimes tell me stories about when she was a phlebotomist and how it was all so fascinating, and there were always interesting new cases of the patients that went to the hospital. These stories made me lean towards a career in medicine....

Why I Chose To Go To College

...Everyone has different reasons on why they choose to go to college, personally ever since I was young I had always seen myself going to college. I always had that determination to receive a higher education then just high school and attain a job that would exceed what my family members had. Growing up my father and everyone I saw around me would work in the fields which is a honest job, but I never wanted to go there to wake up to cold mornings at 5am, to work in the middle of the hot sun at 12pm, and go home at 5pm and receive a check that would still put you in a poverty level of income. I wanted to be more than that and I knew the only way that could happen was if I got a degree. With that I also wanted to give myself the opportunity my...

Why I Chose College Essay

...College is like the finishing sprint in a race. Why stop now, after running all that way, or learning in this case. I have worked to maintain good grades for almost twelve years now. To throw all of that away and not further my education with college would be a gigantic snafu on my part. A college degree is basically a necessity in today’s world. Also, personally, I want to learn all that I can. I may not always show it in school, but I really love learning. The University Of North Carolina School Of Law is my college of choice mainly because I wish to leave West Virginia. My older siblings go to Fairmont State and West Virginia University, and they are both prospering well; though often times they have difficulties focusing on their schoolings with the party atmosphere. I want to see the world and try as many new things as possible; this ambition is never going to be achieved by residing here in the mountains. Living away from home, but not extremely far sounds exciting to me. ...Why college education is important to me Why college education is important to me. “You ask” College education is important to me, because it is a step closer to being the person that I want to be. It is a future for myself, my husband, and my children. I chose to go back to school, (at the age of 34) because I want more out of life. I want to be a better mother and wife, a better person in general. I want to be someone my children can look up too, and say I want to be like you mommy. I want a career! I chose to pursue Psychology as my career, because I have always had an interest in human behavior. I want to learn more about mental functions like memory, creativity, imagination, and so much more. One of the functions that intrigues me the most is brain function. I want to be able to understand why and how it functions the way that it does. I want to understand how one’s mind is different from the other. I want to understand how siblings who have the same biological parents. Can show signs of different mental and behavioral functions. How one child can show signs of anger and shyness? While the other one shows signs of A.D.H.D and mood swings. How can children be so opposite, but yet be so much alike. What intrigues them about each other? How can their social behavior be so different? Like one would show signs of aggression, and one show signs of shyness. Why College Education Is Important to Me

...Andrea Scharen EN110.6.4 “Why College Education is important to me?” College education to me holds the key to a successful career and a brighter future. I chose to go to college right out of high school because I knew I wanted a future in what I love and I already knew what I had to plans to do. I also knew that I couldn’t do what I wanted to do without a college education. I believe without a college education you can only really get a basic job. With a college education, you are more likely to become financially stable in the long run. Having a college or higher education can also equip a person with better life skills and improves an individual’s quality of life. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to work with children. As I got older I figured out that I wanted to be a teacher. As I hit high school I contemplated even going to college because I was told you can be a basic pre-school teacher without a college education. Though I did not want to just be a basic teacher and I took into consideration that later in life I might want to teach a little older. So I decided a college education was important to have so I can do what I planned. Without a college education you are limited to a basic job. Although with a high school education you may secure a job with good benefits but even that is limited to jobs in service, manufacturing, and construction industries. The argument to that statement is with a college education you can enter a higher level career with a greater...

Differences Between Adn and Bsn

...How do competencies vary between ADN and BSN? March 25, 2015   How do competencies vary between ADN and BSN? I am very proud of my accomplishment of obtaining my license as a Registered Nurse as this was my lifelong dream. I chose a very common route to achieve this, through a community college. This program offered a low cost and rather short timeframe to reach my goal of becoming a RN. The ADN program was rumored to be one of the best in Wisconsin so I chose it, with plans of pursuing my BSN right after I graduated. Unfortunately, like most get their ADN, this just doesn’t happen. A person gets a nursing job and deals with work, life and family stressors, who needs to go back to school for a BSN? A BSN does not generally pay better, the job description is the same for both degrees, why would one possible waste their time? During my first class at the community college, the students were told that the ADN graduates generally performed higher on their NCLEX exams than did the BSN graduates. Another point taught was that this ADN degree was more desirable to perspective employers because ADN’s had greater clinical skills and got hired faster. This information seemed to be true, I was hired at a desirable facility and so began my career as an ADN. My career was going great, I was living my dream, having everything I always wanted. Then policies changed, nurses could no longer hold management positions unless they returned to school to earn their BSN. ...
