Some people think that heartbreak is the worst feeling in the world. Many relationships have gone wrong, leaving more questions than answers. Why does it sometimes feel like a broken heart hurts worse than a broken bone? Do feelings really have that much of an impact on a person’s day-to-day life? There are a number of reasons why a relationship fails. Jealousy, attachment, detachment, selfishness, time, trust, communication, honesty, and acceptance are just a few reasons.
Do opposites really attract? Maybe at first. It’s hard to maintain a relationship when two people have absolutely nothing in common. It could be the simplest of things such as what type of movies you like or what to get for dinner to the most difficult of things such as friends.
A successful relationship generally consists of communication, trust, honesty, reliability, compatibility, support, time, and effort. When you are devoted to each other and you have so much love for each other and you are willing to fight to make each moment you have with your partner. Love is an emotion you feel usually towards another person. It describes how you feel about that person, saying that you respect, trust, rely on them, and have no secrets from each other.
We can all take a moment and close our eyes and think back on our lives and the relationships we’ve had. Whether it’s the best friend you had in kindergarten or the boy/girl you, not so secretly, had a crush on in high school. How many of us really spend our whole lives with that one special person whom just so happens to be the best friend you could ever ask for? It always starts off really good.
