Managers are also the watchdogs because they will pay close attention to me and the primary audience and may base my performance on how well I do. If they do not like my performance then I might not get to give another presentation. I think they are also my secondary audience also because they comment or implement my ideas. | The channel of communication I would use to present quarterly sales information is oral and written messages. Before my presentation I would handout papers of my key points. My presentation would consist of a PowerPoint presentation along with me explaining the quarterly sales. The PowerPoint presentation has graphs showing the sale information. | The presentation will only last an hour. It will include information that managers may need to make decisions. Charts and graphs will be used to emphasize sales information. | When talking to the audience I must recognize there are different levels of company knowledge and educational backgrounds. Information should not be of college level because I want everyone to understand. The diversity makes it easier as an overview of highlighted information will make the presentation interesting. Everyone will leave with detailed information packet that they can refer to if needed. I think it is extremely important to be friendly, respectful, and confident. | Salespeople | Salespeople are my primary audience because they will act upon the information I relay. The information is beneficial to this audience because it tells them what their quotas are. I also think salespeople are my auxiliary audience because they might not have to ability to interact with my message. | The presentation will consist of written and oral communication. My presentation will be a PowerPoint with me speaking about the quarterly sales. I will give everyone a handout with the key points and important information I think they might need. | The presentation will only last an hour and will include important information the salespeople will need. I will also ask the audience if they have any questions then give them answers. | | Customers | Customers are my auxiliary audience. Customers will not interact with my message but they will listen. I will have a preface, graphs, and charts to aid me in communicating my objectives. | Presentation will only be an hour so that my audience does not get bored. I will try to make my speech exciting because if it is monotone then my audience might become bored. I will also use simple words so that everyone will understand what I am talking about.
