Remembered as a hot day breeze, fast going and cool. A summer to be sought for. My family and I travel by car. The journey convinced on a road trip across hot desert borders through the mountain daring roads of Mexico. The destination La Yerbabuena Michoacán took around two and a half days to arrive. With views time wasn’t a problem. A small village like town where both my father and mother families originated from. Abundant various things to do while there, some even tradition. For the duration of two, months I attend all activities and have the time of my life.
To begin with, four in the morning the screaming alarm went off as it was time to wash up and say my goodbyes, although the week before I dread the noise of an alarm waking me up, that morning was very different since it was time to start an adventure I will remember for the rest of my life. There are events that people fly in just to attend. The day we drive up La Piedad De Los Lobos in a pack of exceeding a hundred four-wheelers are an example. Over that past few years that event has turned into a tradition, a holiday to the community, we’ve named El Dia De Las Motos July 15. July 17, there is a fiesta in the west part of town and another on the east side of the town on the 18th. Each town tries to outdo one another with the type of entertainment either its grupo or banda, mortars or toritos nothing serious for it`s fun for the people. There is a resident, a wonderful lady who organizes a tour to Mexico City`s huge church with multi story beautiful garden and Yucatan Aztec pyramids. The bus ride to Mexico City from la Yerbabuena is a long cold 7 hour drive. For only 350 pesos, that is only 20 US dollars is the cost for the spectacular tour which I highly
