I normally drink two to three 44 ounce cups of ice water a day at work. It was difficult to truly hide as it is already known that I have ice water all the time. I hid the use by Styrofoam and plastic cups, my track marks by long sleeves and just wrote short notes to enter into my log when I could. I was at work and home the majority of the time; I saw customers, coworkers and my children. Own Reactions I did not really like the feeling that my life revolved around finding, hiding and using one thing. I quit smoking three years ago and I left that addictive need when I put cigarettes down. I think I reacted the way I did because I have had an addiction to nicotine, I know how consuming it can be. I don’t think that someone who has never had an actual addiction could grasp the all-consuming part of it. Others Reactions I’m sure my boss found it odd that I left for a lunch break and didn’t bring back another cup of ice water. This is something I do most every day.
