Bringing forth evidence to support his statements are following studies that have yet to find ground as this topic is difficult to prove either way. The thought process being that certain violent instances in the recent past are the direct result of “Video gamers who seemed to be acting out some dark fantasy” (Carey, 2013, p.1). To support his argument, Carey discusses several studies, though most at this point are inconclusive.
