================================================================== PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS ================================================================== Performance optimisation on slow systems
------------------------------------------------------------------

If Robin Hood –The Legend of Sherwood is running too slow on your system, there are some possibilities to improve the situation. Please test all these possibilities before contacting the Technical Support. - Please make sure to have closed all other windows and applications, including background applications. Other programs may slow your system down if they are running at the same time as Robin Hood. - Please make sure to have installed the most recent drivers for your hardware. The drivers included with your vesion of Windows may be a reason for slowing down the game. - Please make sure to have defragmented your hard disk drive. A very fragmented hard disk drive can slow down the game because the hard disk is used a lot while you are playing. - If the points above do not seem to help, you can deactivate some graphic options and choose a lower display resolution in the game itself. It is possible that you don’t need to deactivate all the points to achieve better performance. o Alpha blending for the view cones o Transparent shadows o Animation effects o Background animations - In the sound options of the game there are also options to improve the performance. You can deactivate „3D sound“ and use low resolution.

Troubleshooting information
------------------------------------------------------------------

Some older graphic cards drivers can produce for example small display errors at the edges of the animations. If you encounter such kind of problems you are recommended to install new drivers.
