Abstract – Lab 5 required the use of a new circuit which was created using a printed circuit board. This board acted as an ECG amplifier to output an ECG signal. We used a soldering iron to connect all components to the printed circuit board, allowing use to practice our soldering skills. A set of three leads were attached to a teammate. The board was then connected to the leads and an oscilloscope which displayed the signal. The lab was completed with some success, as our ECG amplifier briefly displayed

3.7 Impact assessment of the proposed HPS on the existing distribution network In order to assess the impact of integrating the proposed HPS on the existing distribution network, DigSILENT simulation software version 15.2 is used. The software is used to model and simulate the integration of the proposed HPS on the existing network. A frequency limit of 50 0.05 and nominal voltages of 33 kV and 11 kV 6% is used. The single line diagram of the distribution network is shown in Figure 3.12. It consists

The output voltage is almost constant at 1.12V. From the simulation, the TC obtained for this circuit is 11.1ppm/°C. The VMAX is 1.1223V and VMIN is 1.12019V. For further minimizing the temperature coefficient value , piecewise curvature corrected current generator is added to the cross-coupled gain stage BGR. Fig.8. is the output voltage drift plot of the piecewise curvature corrected BGR as a function of temperature. The output voltage is almost constant at 1.09V From the simulation, the TC obtained

Law What is Ohm’s Law? Ohm’s Law is a law relating the voltage difference between two points, the electric current flowing between them, and the resistance of the path of the current. Mathematically, the law states that V = IR, where V is the voltage difference, I is the current in amperes, and R is the resistance in ohms. For a given voltage, higher resistance entails lower current flow. Where did it originate from? Ohm's Law comes from Georg Simon Ohm who was born in Bavaria in 1789. His

Nikola Tesla In the world of electricity there is no inventor more famous than Thomas Edison who fills history books with his world of lights and electricity. Radios, X-Ray’s, alternating current (AC) and the Television are all around today thanks to a man who most American students never hear about in school. The Master of Lightning, Nikola Tesla, is a man who is missing from the very same history book, as Edison. Tesla is the inventor of the electric motor, the remote control, and the Tesla

Miniature Circuit Breaker or MCB is today’s version of old outdated fuses. Today most modern homes, factories, plants, offices have installed MCBs replacing the earlier Rewireable Kid-Kats /Switches. MCBs • Prevents the passage of full fault current during short circuit. • Results in opening of contacts in less than 1 m sec. • Total operating time

The variables and their effects have been covered in detail ahead. Reasons behind choosing the independent variables Our main independent variables are Literacy Rate, Economic Freedom Rating, Government Spending as percentage of GDP and Current Account Balance. Here is a brief rationale behind the choice. • Literacy Rate: Literacy rate is a direct indicator of the human resource capability of the country and is positively correlated with the productivity of the country’s labor force.
