findings of this research revealed that, the positive impact of information technology outweighs the negative impact and both banks and customers benefit from it. Fraud is a major problem associated with information technology as it is on the increase by the day. The research recommended that, Government should improve the electricity supply in the country; they should support local IT firms by providing loans, and lowering tariffs with a view to encouraging them in carrying out their activities.
