Abstract As shown in previous research a relationship between tuition fee and student enrollment exists, this study focusses on this relationship moderated by government aid and career expectations. By manipulating these variables in a questionnaire with vignettes all other variables able to influence this relationship are controlled as much as possible. Results suggest that a variation in both government aid and career expectation influence students’ decision to enroll both for their first study
