Dogs make good companions because of the friendship, unconditional love, loyalty and protection they give. I have decided to adopt a dog from one of my local rescue centers because there are so many unwanted dogs that deserve a loving home. Companionship is the number one reason I chose to adopt a dog. For instance, when you wake up in the morning they don't care if you have morning breath and no make-up, they will be there to greet you good morning.
