There was a massive shift in border lines after World War two, first, in colonial imperialism. Before the Second World War, Europe controlled most of Africa through colonies, but at the end of World War two, Brittan had sustained massive infrastructural and economic damages due to the world war, and mainly due to the devastating battle of Brittan, and in 1947, Brittan relieved itself of its presence in India, forfeiting Brittan’s so called “jewel”, and it did not take long for other British colonies to gain full independence.
