Buying a car is never an easy decision. The last car that I purchased was back in 2011. It was more of a need than a choice to purchase a car. The last car I had at caught a fire for about 3 times in one year. Whatever the problem was I will go and get it fixed repeatedly. The last time my car caught on fire was in 2011 and this time it really put fear in me. I decided to buy a car because of safety reasons. During this time, the economy was trying to get back on a good foot. I have a job at the time. Even though I had a job, it still was going to be a burden to pay for another car. My credit was not so good at the time. Therefore, I had to get special financing. I called many dealerships that has special financing.
Microeconomics
On an economic scale was not in the family budget. One of the things that had to be considered was pricing of a new vehicle. This included the cost of the vehicle the financing of the vehicle and the duration to own the vehicle. One thing that played a big factor in purchasing the vehicle was the bad credit that I had. I know the interest rate was going to be very high due to this factor.
“According to Economic Freedom Americans, continue to lose economic freedom. Following declines in seven of the past eight years, the United States this year has equaled its worst score ever in the Index of Economic Freedom. Ratings for labor freedom, business freedom, and fiscal freedom have flagged notably and the regulatory burden is increasingly costly”.
Buying a car used to be so easy at one time. All dealerships will have the same vehicles at the same price. In today's market with the economy the way it is you may go to one dealership and another dealership may have the same vehicle but at a different price. This makes the buyer very skeptical about purchasing a new vehicle due to the economics; many buyers have bad credit because they are unable to make payments on time or are unemployed. In 2011, the economy was trying to make a comeback. Before we purchased the vehicle in 2011, we had to take all of this in considerations. My husband was just been laid off his job for about a year.
The Dealership made double money on the vehicle because the price was higher. Although, the interest rate came close to equal the amount of the vehicle and the monthly notes were very high it did not matter. However, the need of having a reliable vehicle was greater than the price of the vehicle worth. I had to purchase the vehicle in order to keep my job and be able to get to the job.
Finances was a struggle for the family at that time. Due to the demands of having to get to work and not many choices, the decision of purchasing a new car was made ASAP. Consumers are force into purchasing resources for their family at any cost in order to survive. That sacrifice was an opportunity cost of choice that had to be consider.
We did not consider trading in our old car. The old car had been paid off. We decided to keep it and get do the repair on it for future use. If we had traded the old car, we would have felt misused and cheated.
The down payment for the new car was a little bit more than we could afford at the time so the dealership gave us a month to come up with the money. Therefore, we were able to have new car special financed.

Many cars look like junk. If that concerns you, do not worry. Just because a car has thousands of miles on it does not mean that it has to look bad. Again, cars that seem well taken care of by their previous owners can look just as good as new cars.

Are Writing Deficiencies Creating a Lost Generation of Business Writers?”

...view writing skills as one of the most important qualifications that employees should possess. However, many business employees, including recent college graduates, have serious writing deficiencies, especially in their ability to use standard English. As a result, American businesses spend billions of dollars annually to remediate these writing deficiencies (College Board, the National Commission on Writing for America’s Families, Schools, and Colleges, 2004). In this article, the authors examine possible reasons for these deficiencies and offer evidence that a modified context-based approach, the glossing approach, and consistent error marking can reduce the number of sentence-level errors students make. Understanding Prescriptive vs. Descriptive Grammar

...------------------------------------------------- Top of Form Bottom of Form Understanding Prescriptive vs. Descriptive Grammar When people hear about linguistics, they often believe that linguists are very much like the character Henry Higgins in the play My Fair Lady, who expresses sentiments like in the following song, where he bemoans the state of English and the lack of proper pronunciation: However, as you will learn in this first week of class, there are two different ways that language has been talked about in disciplines that focus on the use of language. We can talk about these different approaches to language as descriptive grammar vs. prescriptive grammar.  Prescriptive grammar  describes when people focus on talking about how a language should or ought to be used. One way to remember this association is to think of going to a doctor’s office. When a doctor gives you a prescription for medication, it often includes directions about how you should take your medication as well as what you should not do when taking your medication. In a similar way, a prescriptive grammar tells you how you should speak, and what type of language to avoid. This is commonly found in English classes as well as other language classes, where the aim is to teach people how to use language in a very particular (typically described as ‘proper’ or ‘correct’) way. Descriptive grammar, on the other hand, focuses on describing the language as it is used, not saying how it should be used. For example...

Common Grammar Errors Encountered by Elementary Studenta

...single best way to teach the English language but there are many ways to do. And it is the main role of the teacher to become flexible enough in applying various techniques in developing the level of competency of the learners. Moreover, grammar is the essentials of language. The means to say that in order to learn the English language, a learner must know when to use a certain tense, word form, knowing how to explain and apply the rule and the right expression. Consequently, teaching English grammar is tricky as there are just so many exceptions to rules, irregularities of word forms, and other that even if you do know your grammar rules, you are probably going o need some help hen providing explanations (http://esl.about.com). Accordingly, the study of grammar began with the ancient Greeks, who engaged in philosophical speculation about language and described language structure. This grammatical tradition was passed on to the romans, who translated the greek names for the past of speech and grammatical endings into latin; many of this terms (nominative, accusative, dative) are still found in modern grammars, but the Greeks and romans were unable to determine how language are related. Connecting the Dots

...Connecting the Dots Initially, I was unable to review the actual results of the Path Builder in Step 1 regarding the assessment that I had taken. Step 2 initially showed me that I mastered all modules on my Learning Path. This includes Sentence Skills, Punctuation, Mechanics and Spelling, and The Craft of Writing. When I selected the Mastered Module titled Sentence Skills, I selected Skills Check and took a short exam. This resulted in a suggestion to work on Fragments next. These skills directly apply my academic life because these are the very skills that are going to be evaluated by the instructors, which in turn will determine how successful I am in each class. While I may have the ability to analyze a situation, I won't be as successful in class if I am unable to correctly articulate that analysis using proper grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. The skills that I am learning in the Path Builder also relate directly to my professional life as a Paralegal, working for attorneys that rely on the written word to convey their legal arguments and points when defending their clients. I have to be able to construct clear and concise motions and pleadings, often times trying to convince a judge or prosecutor to see our point of view regarding very delicate topics. Most of my life, I have been naturally able to construct a proper sentence or write a grammatically correct paper, but I could never define a fragment or parallel sentence. I am excited about the...
