An important characteristic of groups tasks that affect performance is group interdependency. This the correlation of how one members work is interdependent on others and affects other members performance. There are three different types of task interdependencies. The three types which are pooled, sequential and reciprocal can all be found and used within a health care setting. Pooled interdependence could be considered intake area of a health care office. Pooled interdependence can be resourced by looking at the amount of work, and determining most feasible number of employees needed to cover this group of work.
