1. Según Enrique Dussel, existen varios problemas con las ciencias sociales y la modernidad, especialmente para nosotros que vivimos en el Sur. ¿Cuáles son estos problemas y qué propone Dussel?

Para responder esta pregunta debemos dar un resumen de la lectura Europa, modernidad y eurocentrismo de Dussel empieza con el cambio del significado de Europa. El empieza a romper con el mito del cuento único de Europa donde tiene comienzo en los fenicios y semitas (Asia) Egipto (África) empieza a dar lugar a la historia de la Europa moderna y lo sitúa en el Oriente que es lo contrario a lo que se relata hoy en día. Dussel dice que el mito de la diacronía unilineal de Grecia, Roma y Europa, es un invento ideológico del siglo 18 el romanticismo alemán para su ideología racista del modelo “ario”. El occidental va a ar al imperio romano que ahora contiene al África del norte y esta opuesto a los reinos helenistas. Durante todo este proceso no se tiene todavía el concepto de Europa. Para el tercero el reino de Constantinopla cristiano va a se enfrenta al mundo árabe musulmán. Esto va a crear el mundo griego clásico este griego va a dar proceder el mundo romano occidental y al mundo bizantino oriental luego al mundo árabe-musulmán y judío. España y Portugal va a salir de los musulmanes y judíos que vivían en la península ibérica esto va a dar paso al descubrimiento del 1942, luego del descubrimiento de América empezaría la “Modernidad”. Esto da a conocer que la Europa latina es una cultura periférica y nunca centro de la historia. Luego de la explicación de cada país occidental explica la modernidad, entre este hay dos tipos de modernidad la primera eurocéntrica, provinciano y regional. Toda esta historia eurocéntrica va hacer contada por Hegel. Estos principios van ser fundamentados en la reforma, la ilustración y la revolución francesa. Este pensamiento eurocéntrico se puede reducir en Italia (siglo XV), Alemania (siglo XVI-XVIII), Francia (siglo XVIII), Inglaterra (siglo XVII). Dussel dice que esta historia es regional no universal. España es la que va a abrir la modernidad con la conexión de Europa con América y las grandes sumas de plata que sacaron de las minas de Potosí y Zacatecas. La segunda etapa de la modernidad se va a dar en la revolución industrial del siglo XVIII. Inglaterra tendrá la historia moderna después de remplazar a España hasta 1945, será en el año 1870 surgimiento del imperialismo. Dussel critica la “modernidad “de Europa ya que esta se abre como historia universal. Toda la historia es contada desde la cultura etnocentrista, pero es esta historia de la Europa moderna que va a identificarse con la “universalidad mundialidad”. El eurocentrismo de la modernidad es la confusión de ver Europa como centro. La modernidad va a surgir cuando se descubre el Atlántico. Esta va a surgir durante la última época de siglo XV. Aquí es donde América latina entra en la modernidad como la “otra cara” dominada, explotada, encubierta. La modernidad tiene como base el avance de la sociedad humanidad, pero tiene otro componente esta es la violencia. Esto se divide en distintos pasos, primero la civilizaciones moderna son más desarrolladas y tiene este sentido de superioridad, la segunda el ego de la superioridad trata de desarrollar aquellos barbaros iletrados, la tercera el proceso educativo, la cuarte el bárbaro se opone al proceso de educación hacia que utilizan la fuera, la quinta este proceso produce víctimas, la sexta para el moderno, el bárbaro tiene una culpa que es producto de el mismo. La séptima es inevitable este tipo de violencia, sacrificios y sufrimientos ya que este movimiento es necesario para el trascurso de la modernidad. Aquí si negamos la inocencia y la violencia de la está “Modernidad” podremos apreciar el factor que viene ahora. Atraves de la “razón emancipadora” y la “razón liberadora” se puede apreciar la “Trans-Modernidad” esto es un proyecto de liberación de la Alteridad que es complementaria con la modernidad. Esta” Trans Modernidad” es la historia que no se cuanta (Las victimas). Cuando se realiza paralela mente tiene una historia más completa y le das voz y votos no importando la condición social, económica, sexual, étnica, etc.

Los problemas con las ciencias sociales es que es eurocéntrica es por ese que Dussel presenta a Hegel (unos de los fundadores de la filosofía europea y del mito del “centro” del mundo), esto es uno de los problemas de las ciencias sociales ya que presenta como centro a Europa y todo gira en torno a ella, el otro problema es que va atender a los problemas de la Europa y no a los problemas de la Periferia (Países explotados). Al ser las ciencias sociales eurocéntricas no le dan importancia a la historia de américa latina sino que se ven segados por los siete pasos del mito de la modernidad. Dussel propone que neguemos el mito civilizatorio y la inocencia de la violencia moderna se reconozca la injusticia de la praxis sacrificial fuera de Europa y tengamos la “razón emancipadora” y “razón liberadora” para poder ver la “Trans- Modernidad” y entender la completa historia y no la historia eurocéntrica. Esto de acuerdo totalmente con este tipo de pensamientos se debe educar la “trans-modernidad” en america latina y a el mundo para que entonces deje ver la verdad de la historia mundial. Esta enseña tiene que empezar desde la escuela elemental para que entonces se pueda conocer la verdad de la historia mundial.

From the first day of lab I learned to work with many different lab instruments, software and mastered the structures of the mice brain. The instruments I started working with were a digital microscope and its software Stereo Investigator that took pictures at HD quality of mice brain. Shortly after came the analysis of the pictures we captured and the software used was ImageJ and Excel. In ImageJ you can measure different thresholds of the mice brain and get analysis which is imputed into excel and then the numbers from excel are put into a statistical software where graphs are made and you can check if your experiments had any change from the control. What I also learned was how mice brains are put on a slide. First you would use a cryostat, which slices the mice brain at the amount of thickness needed. While you are slicing the mice brains you are putting them onto a slide. Then they are taken from the slide put into a buffer solution, which lets you add to another...

Moreover, microtubules and actin are cytoskeletal filaments responsible for structural support for fungus tip, and help in replication of the cell. Actin filament helps tip to grow by polymerizing, so actin subunit comes together form branch-like structure at the tip is called hyphae (Rosenblum and Shivers 2000). Examples include sexual come-ons, veiled threats, polite requests, and concealed bribes. We propose a three-part theory of indirect speech, based on the idea that human communication involves a mixture of cooperation and conflict. First, indirect requests allow for plausible deniability, in which a cooperative listener can accept the request, but an uncooperative one cannot react adversarially to it. This intuition is supported by a game-theoretic model that predicts the costs and benefits to a speaker of direct and indirect requests. Second, language has two functions: to convey information and to negotiate the type of relationship holding between speaker and hearer (in particular, dominance, communality, or reciprocity). The emotional costs of a mismatch in the assumed relationship type can create a need for plausible deniability and, thereby, select for indirectness even when there are no tangible costs.
