1.1 Prepare documentation to select and recruit a new member of staff.

Job Requisition Form Job requisition forms are for employees who have resigned and/or terminated. Although, job requisition forms can also be used by the department supervisors who want to hire additional staff to the organisation (Work - Chron.com, 2015). The forms are customarily handed over to the human resources department in order for the requisition form to be handled by the recruiter. The recruiter will then have the responsibility of placing job postings based on the requisition and discussions with the hiring manager or department supervisor. With this, job requisition forms are primarily followed for work force planning and staffing actions in an organisation.

Job Description Job descriptions are written statements that obtain a thorough analysis and understanding as what the job seeks for. This means that job descriptions are duties, responsibilities, skills, competencies and more. Organisations also place the working conditions, outcomes needed from that positions and required qualifications for candidates who consider taking on the job positions. The best job descriptions for individuals to look for are those that are updated where responsibilities change. Hence, the employees are not limited which would enhance their experience and grown their skills and ability to contribute the organisation more in the future.

...WITH AND LEADING People ASSIGNMENT BRIEF The aim of this unit is to develop the skills and knowledge needed for working with and leading others, through understanding the importance of recruiting the right people for the job. So what is this thing of working with others to create something new? To create something which none of us could create on our own? To create something which is often more than the sum of the parts? Surely that’s what organizations do. But somehow I do not see many advertisements for leader of function, general leader, senior leader, corporate leader, leading director, chief executive leader, shop floor leader, finance leader. I do see advertisements for head of function, general manager, senior manager, corporate executive, managing director, chief executive officer, shop floor supervisor, and finance manager. Is it purely semantics? Just words, or is there a meaning behind the words?  I think that there is meaning. And I think that there is a different meaning to leader and manager. And that there is a need for different types of leadership in different types of change. This means that there are actually fewer common threads in this chapter. So unlike other chapters, this assignment will separately address the different ways of leading the four main types of change. The aim of this unit is to develop the skills and knowledge needed for working with and leading others, through understanding the importance of recruiting the right people for the...

Furthermore for better understanding the key details related to above mentioned topics I have chosen Yo! Sushi Company to investigate. Background of the company Founded in 1997, YO! By 2001, YO! Sushi was the market leader in sushi restaurants and (we like to think!) inspired supermarkets to start selling packaged sushi to the Great British Public, allowing people in areas where YO! ...Aspects of Contract and Negligence for Business TASK 1: BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF A VALID CONTRACT IN CAM’S COLLEGE 1. Explain the importance of the essential elements required for the formation of a valid contract. A contract is much more than an agreement between two people. There must be an offer and acceptance, intention to create a legally binding agreement, a price paid (not necessarily money), a legal capacity to enter a contract of your own free will, and proper understanding and consent of what is involved. (Begg, 2009) 1. Offer and acceptance= Agreement A contract is formed when an offer by one party is accepted by the other party. An offer must be distinguished from the mere willingness to deal or negotiate. For example, X offers to make and sell to Y calendars featuring Romanian paintings. Before any agreement is reached on size, quality, style or price, Y decides not to continue. At this stage, there is no legally binding contract between X and Y because there is no definite offer for Y to accept the essential terms of the bargain has been decided. An offer needs not be made to a specific person. It may be made to a person, a class of people, or to the whole world. Acceptance occurs when the party answering the offer agrees to the offer by way of a statement or an act. Acceptance must be unequivocal and communicated to the offer or: the law will not deem a person to have accepted an offer merely because they have not expressly rejected...
